Coroner: West Covina woman died of multiple gun shot wounds

Police have six witnesses, but no leads Friday in the slaying of a 30-year-old woman at a suspected drug house on Workman Avenue.

Are the West Covina Police really such a bunch of "sissies"-nicest word I could use--to not pursue this case aggressively??? I mean really, are you so "understaffed" as to not be able to protect this obviously dangerous neighborhood? Are you too lame to find out who murdered this young woman? What is the real story officers? Is there a "payoff" of some sort going on? Aren't you supposed to "serve and protect"?????????

I don't blame the PD...I blame the laws on the books that prevent our officers or the DA from being able to go into a known drug house and arrest everyone and keep them locked up for poisoning our city.
The city should be able to seize the house from the owner and put it up on the auction block and sell it to make up for the cost of this investigation.
Oh and on a side note who cares if a few more crack heads are dead. They gave up on their life when they started using drugs. They're just a few more people you won't have to worry about breaking into your home or stealing your property to get money for their next fix. Its too bad more of them weren't taken out.

This is the sixth person to be murdered by a gun in West Covina. How many of those cases were solved? Dont worry "concerned citizen" they will stay on this one till they find the person. They keep reporting the same obvious stuff like almost everyday. She's caucasion, not hispanic or black, they keep on it.

If no one wants to tell you the truth there is not a whole lot of evidence to go on. Gangsters have their "code" and they prevent the police from solving crimes. Sounds like the only people that saw the suspect in this case are the people in the house and if they don't say anything then how do you solve that? Also, FYI there have been 6 murders in West Covina this year - 5 out of the 6 have been solved so far. 83%(and still working on this one) compared to the county average of 55%. Also, LA County is on track to have 60 less murders than last year.

I grew up with the woman who was killed , she was a good person and she did not deserve this.So well #@** off...

How do you know the case is not being investigated "aggressively?" Becuase it is not solved yet? It has only been 4 days and it will happen within time. They solved the other 5 murders. Your comment about a "payoff" is so lame, grow up and stop watching TV. They are trained professionals and are acting as such, even with their low staffing levels. I checked comparable cities and they have the least number of officers. i think that comment about payoffs is rediculis . also people are afraid to report or tell what they know in these types of situations because of retaliation . if the cops would offer some type of relocation or protect their identity , maybe they would help if they could . but these days being a good citizen can get you killed . and thats SAD.........

Chelsea wasn't as innocent as you guys think. she recently has been strung out on meth. she had an awesome personality, but the meth got the best of her. the meth made her do some stupid things. she has made alot of enemies in the past months, I am not surprised this happened.

Why are we so surprised that a meth head got shot? Because she was in west covina? Please!If she loved her grandmother she would have got her act together!
