What the HELL ever happened to commom sense??? The weapons policy is meant to keep items such as guns and knives out of a "safe environment". Protection of the children from harm is a good idea, I can see a problem with a hunting knife, or the BBgun a kid got for his birthday, BUT, for god almigty's sake...A TWO INCH TALL TOY SOLDIER GLUED TO A HAT??!!? The freaking libtards are losing their grip!

You truly have to wonder what in the heck was running through the teacher/principal's head when they tell a 7 year old kid that he cannot wear a hat with a plastic toy soldier on a baseball cap. I mean good God man, where are their freaking brains? Where is the common sense in society?

Yet they have no problem with 9 and 10 year olds walking around dressing like freaking prostitutes in training.

Which is the worse potential problem? Sad thing is that this is not the first time stuff like this has happened as I recall.

Come on, folks. This will turn out for the better for everyone. Good policies have unintended consequences. I'm a veteran and not at all politically correct, but this story shouldn't raise much ire. Glad to see good sense is prevailing.

Im Glad I grew up in a time where playing guns was accectable ie, cops robbers, cowboy and indians, soilders, I bet I would be arrested today sporting my cap gun six shooter around town, its an up side down world today,it not the people with gun licences who are the problem , its the ones that dont have them they are the problem makers,
times are a changing. I think there should be a law for all schools to have a metal detector at the door for a weapons check apon entering the school now thats common sence what would that cost say a thousand dollar for a safe school, but thats makes to much sense to do,
