Mayor Peter Nystrom is again crying foul at the Department of Correction, this time for the DOC's placement of a former Bridgeport-area man convicted of abducting and raping two school-aged children in the early 1980s in a Central Avenue apartment already housing another graduate of a local sexual offender treatment facility.

Mr. Nystrom is correct. Norwich cannot and will not become a dumping ground for sex offenders. And what is proper housing supposed to be and why is it provided for people who have raped two children in the past. Keep this man off my streets and send him back to Bridgeport and let them take care of they're own problems. If you are reading this and get a feel sick to your stomach feeling then you need to post your opinion also.
