Whidbey Island: Window on Whidbey : This is why we live here
My favorite drive on the island includes scenic Hill Road in Coupeville that wends its way to Ebey's Landing National Historic Reserve.

I agree that is a beautiful drive, and the hiking at Ebeys has some pretty incredible vista points. A real favorite place of mine is Greenbank Farm. You can stand on the top of the hill and see water on both sides of the island, the Cascades and the Olympics. After that enjoy some great pie at the restaurant.
