I have a neighbor who burns brush several times a year. The burning occurs late at night usually--last night it started at about 10:45 p.m.I live in
a residential area outside Coupeville proper. The police have been called by me or some neighbors about
eight times in the last year. I now have the fire marshal promising to take care of this...we will see.
Has it been anyone's experience that the police do not care much about enforcing the law in this matter?
How many times must a person be warned before a fine
is issued? Must I shut my windows to protect myself
from the nuisance and noxious emissions, while this person continues this dangerous practice ?
