Police Officer LaSalle King is asking for everyone’s assistance to celebrate the homecoming of a Blue Island soldier who has been serving in Afghanistan. On February 15th at 5:30 pm, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Adam Leitz will be returning home. Adam, a 2006 Eisenhower graduate, is currently stationed at Fort Carson, CO as an Apache Helicopter pilot. He conducted a covert mission during July 2012 where he and his comrades were responsible for rescuing 23 soldiers. CW2 Leitz is truly a hero and deserves a warm welcome home to thank him for his service to our country. The ceremony will take place at the Blue Island Meadows Golf Club, 2802 W. 123rd St. They are requesting assistance and participation in a short motorcade from his home at 12153 Maple through the City and ending at the Meadows Golf Club. This is our opportunity to say “Welcome Home” to a young man who has served his country with honor and bravery. When: Friday, February 15th, 5:30 pm

Where: Motorcade begins at 12153 Maple and ends at the Meadows Golf Club, 2802 W 123rd

Jim does everything under the sun as long as it has nothing to do with being a building inspector, which is his title, paid by our taxes. We have a city planner that should plan such events ^0 days left and Jim should be planning for his new job!!!!
Thank you

I don't know who Jim is but I copy/pasted this info' from an e-mail I received since this soldier is a close friend of my son. Please attack Jim on a different thread.

This is Jim's personal welcome home for one of many living here that did not have a welcome.Who is funding this welcome home? Jim and the city of course, we now pay a building inspector to spend time and money flagging a parade route where's our 70,000.00 city planner that's his job.
Thank you
