I just heard that CC Hills plan on laying off 12 police officers, but yet they continue to have concerts at their failed Amphitheater losing thousands of tax payers dollars. The Alderman are making more money than the the Mayor himself at close to $40,000 yearly for only a handful of hours a year. I read that the Mayor is not giving up his Liquor Commission salary at $32,000 a year, which don't include his huge salary for being Mayor. It's funny how the Mayor and council members are willing to risk the safety of their own people that elected them, so they could live large with their fat paychecks and show off the costly mistake amphitheater to friends. If anything CC Hills need more officers to protect them from the huge housing project in back of the Walmart. Another 75 section 8 families moving into town in just a couple of months. You think there is crime in the Hills now, just wait until this huge mistake opens for business. The City did not have it's residents in mind when they decided to place this housing complex in town, they were only looking at fast money. 12 officers will be half of the department. The future of CC Hills is not looking good.
