I'm in lawrence county and cys took my son who's two cause I overtook my perscription and fell asleep while my son was awake. I know I screwed up but since then I've finished 2 of their service plans. I've had many urine screens which have all come back neg. This is all in 4 months. Monday I went for a visit with my son number one they were an hour late bringin him.when I asked why they told me they moved him to a different home cause other kids were gettin molested.I'm so sick to my stomache I've done everything I was told to do but they refuse to give me my son...what do I do please help me

all i can say is go to : mrscarmen sheaffer on fb and read my story! all i can say is cys sucks and they take kids out of loving homes! they say they care about the kids and that its all wats in the best interest of the child but we all know thats a bunch of bs! we all know its about $$$$$!!!!! God forgive me but i just cant stand these people anymore and i had it up to my next with them! i feel as tho my lawyer isnt doin nothing for me..i have never missed a visit..i had never ever been dirty for drugs..i have a job,home,car....my kids have all they need..so why aint my kids home?? when these ppl tell me to jump i ask them how high! i dont mess with these ppl or give them a reason to keep my kids! i have done everything!!!!! im going bananas!! im tired of it! the system is so screweD! I need advice and help to protect 3 innocent children . Have given them major proof. They've recieved many reports from individuals, the school and even police have been to home many times for domestic violence. They only make the situation worse. Need a good lawyer. Advice PLEASE.

I hear they are taking kids from good homes. I have bonafide PROOF of real, true and awful abuse. It has been reported by others, even by the public school. CYS is doing nothing but worsening matters. Spoke with an attorney from Erie, Pa. She was shocked and appalled by 2 incidences, I told her of. She said these poor kids would of been removed IMMEDIATLY if, this would of occured in Erie County. No decent, bigger area attorney wants to venture to this no-mans-land.

I feel for u.i also have tried to gain custody of grchildren. I am qualified, backgr cheks,foster parent and eve adopted fr cys a spec needs child and they claim Im not god enough. thy placed kids with 6children in hme, 4 babies and felt that w a better environment than family. They never returned not 1call fr family members to offer support.They do what thy want and I believe they derive great pleasure hurting u even at the expense of the children.they keep kids in that situation because that family doesnot put any expectation on them and they feel u would want justice and accountability. good luck and Im going to pray for the return of the childrn. My best advice is to pay an aggressive lawyer who is not influenced by agencies and the monkey court that makes decisions for these precious lives... be prepared to pay alot! God Bless.

We have been told by several agencies however we can not afford to fight the state ! this is ridiculous.

I have had issues with Clearfield County. They take the word of the children and do not believe issues at hand! This child has mental issues and harmed themself and lied. The child has a pattern of lying and there is proof of the lying, but instead CYS believes it all! Then they remove the child and place them with relatives that do not have a room for them. The child sleeps on a sofa and thats ok. The relatives even have a record for drugs and this is ok as well. We the parents have been dealing with this child and her issues and noo wants to help. Even the doctors say the child is fine. These doctors I believe work wit the agency and will do what they need to in order to cover thier ass as well. This agency has only ha 2 correspondence with me. Since when is the child the adult, but the adult is a liar? I am a well educated women who provided this child with everything. I always put the childs needs above everything else. The problem today is kids are preached that if they are disapplianed its abuse. I even had a worker tell me once that if the mark was not thier in 72 hours it was not abuse. When the child was spanked and I told the investiagtor this the worker lied! I was forced to take the child to the ER and police station. At the police station I was told I did not commit a crime and the case was closed. But this agency indicated me of abuse. How can they find a person guilty without a judge and jury is beyond me. This agency not only took a mentally ill child from thier environment but riped apart a whole family. I was even told I was not allowed to yell at the child. I ask the worker if she had children and does she yell at them and she admitted she does. My response was then do not tell me I can not! This system is messed up. What happen to an adults word being the truth? Its amazing how you can spank a child on the bottom and marks magicaly appear. That is what happens with a mental ill child! This agency cares nothing more then about covering thier own ass! They care more about bothering lower to middle class families. How about the big party at the local high school and the kids involved. There was another cover up. These people had me scared shitless over something I did not do. They treated me like trash and said very unprofessional things. When they was told about it by my husband it was laughed off. They even tried to get my husband to leave me. They en bulliedmy husband to sign temporary gaurdianship to the relatives. My husband works out of town and was told he hd 2 choices sign the paper or quit his job. How did they expect the child to return to the home without an income? This system needs cleaned up and these workers need to learn compassion. They need to be better educated and earn listening skills. They also need look at all the evidence instead of taking just the word of children who are now being taught that everything is abuse. What has happen to the child fearing the parent? Now the parents must fear the child! Spare the rod spoil the child.

Hi I've can affirm what your going trough. First i would suggest you and your husband go before GOD in pray in faith asking him to take control of the problem.Then I Im going to suggest that you get a hold to the Pennsylvania Rules of Juvenile court Procedures.This book will show you rules the courts are to follow then you should look up all superior and supreme court case law i would advise you to fire if you have a court appointed attorney that attorney and if given another put a tight grip on him or her.The rules and the case law will help you there service plane is a trap they want to build stuff on you so don't agree to it. if they come into your home record them every thing they say or do. Please keep GOD AS YOUR FOR FRONT he wont lose.STOP AND DONT MAKE ANY MORE COMPRISES WITH THEM.EXAMPLE YOU DO THIS WELL DO THAT NO THEY WONT. ITS A TRAP. If a judge set and order make them do what helps you in that order not everything that help them because they are bound by law to follow the order ( doesn't mean they will but if they dont you don't second. YOU bond is set and if you alleviate what cause the removal and put on record prof of what you done you will win your case.( file everything ) make it apart of public record cause what not disputed on record become fact.

Also, we need to organize effective information and laws that will help and assist those that need it. The faster you can get the appropriate information and support team. unfortuanately, it is very hard to fight (clearfield county) cys! we were foster parents, and we tried , and you all have it right, they lie worse than a sailor cusses!!!!!

I live in westmoreland county and I am currently being investigated by cys. An anonymous call on 3/27 was placed stating that there were crack pipes and dog feces all throughout my house. I have 3 children and am currently expecting another one in september. I have never in my life smoked crack! On the day in question no one was at my home. My husband had a dentist appointment and has a suspended license, therefore i packed up the kids and took him myself. No one was here until 4pm in the evening when i brought my husband and kids home then went to work. My husband assures me that no one stopped by to visit. At 9am on 3/28 a cys worker showed up on my doorstep with these allegations. My husband informed her that because of the 4th amendment that she would need a court order to come into our home. She informed us that the 4th amendment did not apply to her and that by denying her entry she could in fact take our children because we must have something to hide. She was denied entry to my home. I will not give up my rights that easily when so many are now on the chopping block in washington. I spoke with the worker on the phone where she again told me that the 4th amendment did not apply to her and that I had to make the children available to her. These allegations are completely false and no one has been to my home other than my grandmother in the last 4 months (we live very rural). Cys is demanding that i comply with this bogus investigation and take my children to their office to be examined.I am refusing to have them examined by anyone in their office and instead I am having them examined by a health care professional, as they should be. I am very concerned that one anonymous call from an irate neighbor can give them the motivation to take my children into foster care. These neighbors simply want our lot of land to move another one of their family members into our small community. They have tried complaining to our landlord to get us evicted, and those allegations were found to be false by him. So they have now resorted to lying to cys to scare us to move. Does cys take this into consideration? No, they assume because someone called it must be true. They assume because I believe in my rights that i must have something to hide. It is a broken system that is geared to make money for these so called "service providers".I called the attorney general and all of the local legislation about these blatant attempts at violating our rights and no one seems to care.I contacted the legal aid department and they told me that they would not represent anyone going up against cys. How is this in any way fair? I do not have thousands of dollars for an attorney and it seems none of these agencies that will do pro bono work will go up against these people. I am at my wits end. I have proof of the last 3 months of ob appts that I am not on drugs. I have been drug tested not only by my ob but also to gain employment at the new job i started less than a month ago. Since when are false allegations like this enough evidence to threaten a family? If anyone has any information on an attorney that is willing to go up against these people please post in this thread a name and number so that i might get in contact with them. If i have to i will go into debt taking out loans to pay them. I refuse to let cys take advantage of my family and I feel they must be stopped! Hearsay should not be a viable reason to threaten my family. I could just as easily call and lie about someone and their children be threatened. It is completely ridiculous. Why did this cys agent get so upset when i denied her entry to my home? She knows that she will not get a court order on an anonymous tip and she can not gather evidence against us if we refuse to speak to her or let her into our home. She may actually have to do real work instead of ruining peoples lives over a bogus phone call.

my fiance is dealing with lawrence county cys he has a son who got hit by mothers bf took to emegancy room and police and was afraid to let him go back meanwhile hes 4 cys showed up 11pm at night trying to talk to him he told them what happened . we overheard from upstairs .they said well u know thats a fib. we werent allowed in the room. then in report they said found it wasnt true. reallly after talking for 5 mins with him . meanwhile the mother new everything my fiance and them talked about. I thought that was confidential. im confused as of now hes back in her cusdoy we cant see him till the next hearing .in june . any ideas ????????
