Good those bastards stole from this community, as well as completely gutted our hockey team. May they rot in jail!!
Right on dude! Our hockey team will never see a Stanley Cup again due to the new cheap owner. At least Rigas got them to the finals. Time Warner sucks too!

Since they were re-convocted of the same crimes (minus one minor count) and had already been sentenced for these same crimes they should go directly to jail now!!! They have been free long enough during this meaningless appeal process.

It's about time! I wonder how long any one of us regular citizens would remain free if we did what they did. I figure the court waited for the old goat to die so he wouldn't do the time but he is too mean to go out early. Now it's time to pay the piper! See ya!!!

There are hundreds of us former Adelphia employees who lost our jobs as a result of their greed. They should have been in jail while waiting for their appeal. They've continued to live the high life in that little one-light town in Pennsylvania while those of us who have lost our jobs are struggling to support our families. Shame on the entire Rigas family! Go to jail and fry in hell.

What comes around goes around. I guess since they can't play golf on their private course, they'll have to learn how to play tonsil hockey.

They did more than put people from Buffalo out of work, they ruined the economies of the whole region and two states, all for greed. In Wellsville, they took the savings from people who could not afford to loose it and still have the gull to procalim their innocence. They are not getting anywhere near what they truly deserve. They owe Western New york and Northern Pennsylvania much, much more than they can ever re-pay!!!

I think you exagerate. No one business 'owns' the economy of a region nor two states. They are indeed crooks but they are not good scapegoats for the regions dismal economic situation.

What are you talking about our "cheap owner". He spent to the salary cap last year, how do you expect him to spend anymore? Do you know anything about hockey?

Also, at least the new owner earned his money legitimately, not like the crooked accounting at Adelphia. And by the way, who was the cheap owner that didn't pay michael peca years ago, it was Rigas! Do you know who Peca even is? Get a CLUE!!!

They robbed the optimism and hope from the economy, once that was lost nothing took its place. If you lived here you would know that.

I know what they did was wrong, but maybe instead of putting John Rigas in jail, they could sentence him to teach Time Warner how to run a cable company.

They should have gone to jail in 2002 when I got "laid off" in Nov. They continued living well while my family struggled (and still struggling). He single handedly ruined a nice little town. What a loser he and his family is. Hopefully he gets to be the jailmate of someone who will welcome him to jail properly.

You want them to let Mr. Rigas show Time Warner how to steal then? Is that what you are saying? If he showed TWC how to run a cable company, atleast they would all have fairy tale weddings and expensive bedroom slippers..

WHY DON'T YOU ALL GET A CLUE.. I COULD CARE LESS ABOUT A DAMN HOCKEY TEAM.. I HAVE A FAMILY TO FEED AND WHEN THE UNEMPLOYMENT RUNS OUT IN A MONTH THE LAST THING I AM GOING TO WORRY ABOUT IS HOCKEY??? EITHER WAY YOU LOOK AT IT THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS AND DESERVE A LOT MORE THAN 15 & 20 YRS IN PRISON. THEY STILL HAVE MORE MONEY THAN ANY OF US UNEMPLOYED PARENTS WILL EVER SEE.. SO WHILE YOU ARE WORRYING ABOUT THE HOCKEY TEAM WINNING A CUP, I AM WORRIED ABOUT HOW I AM GOING TO FILL A CUP FOR MY KIDS !
