Just Wondering

I just read an article on Yahoo about rural schools adopting a 4 day school week to save taxpayers money. I was wondering what some of you folks think about a 4 day school week. I am not for or against it at this point. The costs for fuel for the buses and the savings in operating expenses (ie. electricity and other utilities) adds up to quite a lot of savings. Classes would need to be extended to 10 minutes each so the required instruction time would be met.
