Yes finally a topic that's about something else besides other people, if anyone has any ghost stories they would like to share then by all means do it. I think it would be interesting to hear what other people gotta say.

Go to Martinez Park the swings move on their own at night... I'm pretty sure at least two kids have been murdered there...

Go to the bridge over the Nueces River at night and park. You will hear the scream then the howl of the person who hung themselves many years ago.

We were told as youngsters that the billy goat was haunted by a white billy goat ghost that would jump over the hill during the middle of the night. We later found out that parents had been telling that story for years to keep teens from going there and making out.

However, if you go to Billy Goat (hill), the ranch right behind it is haunted. See for yourself: https://youtu.be/jQTjYR3tqUU

Also, the courthouse has a lot of unknown history. You should ask for a tour of the basement, it's like Freddy Kruger's Boiler Room. My grandfather was a quiet and honest man. He would tell me that people were hanged outside the courthouse in the very early days and outside the Carta Blanca Bar (last known as Gallero's Bar & Grill). He said that he knew of some men that were hanged by whites in order to steal their land/property.

Of course nothing can be confirmed because only those in power could read and write an thus recorded the incidents as something else or not at all.

At night, if you're sitting outside... Whistle. Like you're trying to get some someone's attention. Almost like "cat calling ", and wait. If you do it enough, you will get a whistle back and it will continue. But when you hear it go Inside, don't stick around. And don't look out the windows. If you think you're brave enough to sleep through the night without hearing the whistles or stalking, good luck!
