Several Salt Lake County agencies came to the aid of an elderly man with too many cats Thursday.

The Fox News report mentioned that Boy Scouts were planning to help with the clean up. This is a hazardous situation that should be handled by professionals. Children or young adults do not have the equipment or training to protect themselves from disease, microbes, and filth to this extreme. I tried calling the Health Department but had no luck after 5 on a Friday. Although the community is generously trying to help please caution anyone to not put their health and respiratory system at risk.
