DRIFTWOOD ,your an idiot..and I'll bet you smell like sandalwood.
I think the tables should be turned on the hunters and the deer, turkey, elk, bear, dove, mountain lion, and fish should be give guns to stalk and hunt them.

If our ancestors had "felt" as you
do , the human race would have become extinct. There are many now
who are trying to make that happen. Good thing we have a few
sturdy souls with some "Common Sense". Common Sense is a term
that the self described elitist left hate to hear. It implies
that there is knowledge other than that which exudes from the
halls of ivy. A few hard years will thin out the elite weaklings,
but the survivors will still be around eating venison.

I've never hunted for sport. Raising my children on Elk, Deer, and grouse. They all ate healthy. Now that I'm older and my eyes arent so good I don't hunt anymore. Never shot at anything that I knew I couldn't kill on the first shot. Always had meat in the freezer by Nov to last us through the year to the next season. It was our way of life. A garden in the back yard and good clean meat that I knew wasn't injected with chemicals and hormones. The way animals are raised for food is horrible. They suffer worse than one bullet. Since I can no longer hunt we eat more beans. Not everyone hunts for sport. I did always hunt enough to sustain our family of 5 and share with the neighbors.

A lot of hunters in our area ( North East ) hunt for sport as well as helping with the grocery bill. Hunting ( legally ) is not cheap ,
but having the bonus of quality meat for the freezer helps with the cost. So many people that are opposed to hunting ( killing
wild game ) believe that hunters deplete the count of animals
in a natural environment , but if the hunters don't harvest the deer , squirrels, rabbits , etc.- then the drivers will , and a
road kill is the final destination of the animal. One thing I
would like to express is that I am totally opposed to shooting animals just for the " thrill " of the kill. Low life scoundrels
who kill anything for "fun" rate right at the bottom of the sludge bucket in my opinion as well as those who vandalize others'
property.

Shotgun Slade - you're going to call people 'stoopid' at least spell it right. You're making conservatives look bad otherwise. Most liberals will take your misspelling and cast a blanket over all conservatives as people who are ignorant and can't spell. It's spelled stupid not stoopid.

Stop the slaughter - What do you think about mountain lions attacking, killing, mutilating and partially eating a deer that is just enjoying a stroll in the woods, never allowed to return to its family again? What do you think of bear that kills a salmon, destroying and mutilating the salmon and preventing it from ever returning to its freshly laid eggs? What do you think of a house cat that catches torchers and kills a lizard, a mouse or a bird in the back yard and then brings the body into the house to show for a trophy? The cat doesn't even eat the lizard, mouse or bird but only kills it for fun. Then when the cat is finished with it he or she just walks away leaving the carcass for all to see.

SniperZrule - Welcome. It's nice to have Texazonans here in the great state of Arizona.

I can relate to your feelings about baby salmon that will never know their mothers and fathers, and housecats torchering small critters just for the fun of it. Something has to be done to save our wildlife from the jaws of animals, and I'm glad to see someone bearing the tortch. Torture on!

Penandpaper - a bear or a mountain lion can't go to a grocery store. I think you literally have shlt for brains.

They are part of the food chain, you are not. You're a soft, weak keyboard jockey. You couldn't hurt a fly without a weapon.

If everything fell apart, the housecat you mention would survive in the wild much longer than you would.

Love the idiots saying "plants have feelings too". What do you clogged artery cowards think the animals you murder eat? It takes 10 lbs of grain to produce 1 lb of "meat".

Ps I'm a 200 lb vegan that's been involved with combat sports for over 20 years. Let's see you guys leave your guns at home and meet me somewhere. I'd knock any one of you out with one punch.

That's a good line but you must occasionally realize that the animals have thoughts and feelings too and don't want to die simply so you can feel a bit more macho for awhile or can make a good joke. Of course, it you must hunt to survive, that's another thing. But hunting for sport is cruel and unnecessary. And hunting animals that can't go on your plate, like shooting coyotes or bobcats just because you like to shoot things is truly stupid, as I'm sure you would agree. If target shooting doesn't give you the same challenge as stalking wild game, try taking pictures instead. It's more difficult than hunting with a rifle because you have to get much closer to get an excellent wildlife shot and you have to learn the ins and outs of your camera so that it becomes instinctive.

Animals begin their day enjoying the sunshine and then go out to forage for food. In a split second they are mowed down never to return to their families. All for the sake of some gun nut with a desire to kill. The thrill of the kill. When an animal attacks a human it is put down. When an human attacks an animal the same should apply. Animals have the same five senses that we do, and one we don't have. Common sense.
Arizona is one goofy state, but I hope this proposition is mowed down, killed, and wiped off the face of the earth. It good to see the vote total leaning to NO.
Oh.....the HUMANITY of it all....sob...
Did you ever see a cat play with a mouse & leave the poor creature disemboweled & uneaten?
Animals (the ones with common sense) kill for food, territorial disputes, and sport....just like we do....get over it.

Most Virginian's are tolerant & respectful of other peoples views & rights.

I am a Tombstoner that is now contracting in North Carolina....with my Bass Boat.

Buggs Island Lake is drop-dead-beautiful.....and the people are nice...just like Arizonans.

The land of General Robert E. Lee is second to none.....I just wish he could have lived

Robert E Lee himself is second to none - as far as being a coward goes! That racist pussee and his pathetic troops got absolutely destroyed, before surrendering like the coward hicks they are.

If that was the south rising, what is them falling? Rednecks being the laughing stock of the country? Or having a black President?

Doesn't that make Lions, Tigers, and Bears (yellow brick road saying)......"cowards "?
(and YES, all these animals kill for sport, as well as food)

Hey, enough of this Texas vs. Arizona stuff!

Both have concealed carry & liberal hunting laws...
Both are predominantly, pro American, politically, conservative.

I'm an Arizonan, but Texas is my adopted state...so proud of both.

BTW....it looks to me like we're being led down the "confusion" path on this law.
It LOOKS like Prop 109 might protect our precious gun/self protection rights from the
likes of Obama & his leftist, gun-grabbing, freedom-killing, agenda.
Am I right?

I was just wondering Robert....do you EVER make ANY attempt to be honest or engage in honest debate?
If you believe the southern soldier, outnumbered, and outgunned, that fought the
mighty US Government to a standstill....(read about Fredricksburg, Cold Harbor, or Bull Run)
was a coward....
Then you are taking away from the brave Union soldiers who fought them....
Hell, ANYBODY could whip a coward...couldn't they?
It seems you see "racists" under every bed......
Redneck..."laughing stock"?
Black President?........

Now, who's the "racist"?

Arizonavet - see above. I think it describes you even better than that penandpaper clown. You couldn't be further from a lion or a tiger, heck a bobcat would destroy you in a fight. They are at the top of the food chain, you would be at the bottom if you lived in the wild.

Honest, informed debate is fun....you should try it sometime.

You DO seem to know how to cut & paste......OK, you took a step up......

You just want to knock people flat with one blow who disagree with you?
Or is it all people?

"a bobcat would destroy you in a fight"....you live in quite an (insulting, intollerant) world of your own.

Most people here print the state they are posting from.....
I notice you don't.
Yet you want to "knock people flat with one blow"....<roll eyes>
No problem amigo....you are somewhat entertaining.
Have a good day.
