Who is the current chief of police? What do you think of him/her??

I think Bill Geater does a real good job for what he has to work with. Look at the idiot applicants he has, low budget, and wanna-be chiefs he has working for him. Bill is a dedicated and sincere person who has had to work there for years with piss poor chiefs before him, and the community will lose a valueable asset when he leaves. The crime rate in Brinkley has been lower with this chief than in the ones in the past.

The reason for idiot applicants is because Brinkley P.D. has such a bad image, which was caused by the chief. Brinkley P.D. is the laughing stock of Eastern Arkansas which has only happened since "Bill" took over

Brinkley is no different than any other small town anywhere in this country. It has good and bad. When I was a kid there, everyone hated Story and Strickland. Why is there so much sanctimonious BS on here? Let's read something worthwhile sometimes.

Haven't been home in 7 years. Going there in a couple of weeks. Tim wasn't so bad and he was a classmate and good friend. Don't know who Edwards is.

your right geater is a good man...but as far as the chiefs before him ...maybe some of them were not so good...but this town had 1 honest, dedicated chief and that was jimmy burrow...the best cop and man that ever came thru brinkley!!!
