'Fig' Lipodissolve Firm Files For Bankruptcy
A suburban St. Louis company that provided fat-dissolving injections has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection about a month after closing 17 clinics and leaving 500 people out of work.
Go Fig Inc., which does business as Fig, provided Lipodissolve treatments, a process in which injections of a compound substance melts fat and flushes it from the body.
Last month, Fig posted a message on its Web site saying that "due to economic conditions beyond our control," the company ceased operation Dec. 7. The only one of its 18 clinics to remain open was in Costa Mesa, Calif., which is independently owned.

As a former employee of Fig it is so disappointing how we and our customers were treated. We are still owed for hours worked plus commission. Hope Rob is enjoying his million dollar manison while the rest of us could not buy our kids christmas gifts. Bad Karma Rob

I know where your coming from. I agree.I worked in Dallas for fig. I was lucky that I had some money saved. It went fast. I was talked into leaving a company I had been with for 10 years to come to fig. I bought into it, all of the fig. dream. I hate that it came to an end so quick. It was truly great while it lasted. I loved my patients, I loved the people I worked with and I loved my job. I hate that I put such faith in a company that just in the end gave up. The lipo dissolve was painful, left scars on my body and definitely did not work. Would like to see my $4000 back that I invested in this process....never again.

Each time I visited Fig AKA Advanced Lippodissolve in Scottsdale, AZ, I was physically sick for the next 24-48 hours. I hurt, I itched, I felt nauseaous. It was almost a relief when they e-mailed me that they had filed for bankruptcy. Still, I am out 4K and am no different in appearance than I ever was. And where are all these updates they are supposed to be putting on their website for all of us who were left high and dry? Needless to say, I am furious. I spit on your maicured lawn, Rob.

I had several treatments and they did work for me. I had more treatments to go that I overly prepaid for and now I guess I'm out my hard earned money. Anyone out there that can help provide me with information on my options now would be greatly appreciated. In regard to getting a refund or the treatments that I paid for. Thanks from Arizona

I as well spent 2400.00 for shots to dissolve fatty tissues that didn't work, and now I have to have surgery to remove a large lump that traveled to my upper stomach. The shots were for my lower stomach. I was in better health and shape before the shots. Now my stomach is larger and hangs. I've never looked like this before. I hate what they have done to me.

I had the 9 treatments all in all. They did not work. Was promised a refund. This after completing all the necessary paperwork, even sending an email and receiving a reply from this Rob person, I still have not gotten my $2400.00. This company's business ethics are definitely in question. I hope that we get our refund.
