Wasn't the victim on probation and wasn't he in police custody earlier in the day for drinking and driving after being kicked out of the home. The man in custody for the stabbing may have avoided being attacked by the victim and allegedly stabbing him in self defense if only the police had attested him. After all, if driving under the influence with alleged priors wasn't bad enough, he was in violation of his probation. The victim had threatened the accused before. Being drunk and blindsiding someone after threatening them; if only the cops hadn't given him break.

Yeah, because people often cruise around in upscale neighborhoods in broad daylight with weapons to ward off a potential attacker just in case they need to stab someone to death at the end of a cul-de-sac where they happen to innocently be enjoying their afternoon with all the best intentions, right? Next you'll say that its normal to attack someone in self defense and leave them there to die face first in their driveway...those who are honest with nothing to lose don't run, don't kid yourself.

I wasn't there. We're you? It just seems like a lot of assumptions are being made for example, cruising around with a weapon? Since when did a pocket knife that one carries as part of their trade become a weapon? Not until it was used perhaps in self defense. It is my understanding that in the state of Ca., you are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Secondly, you have a right to meet force with force even deadly. Not saying I condone it or even that that's the case but I am saying that it certainly does not appear that the victim was blameless. If in fact the alleged victim was still strapped into the seat belt of the car when he was blindsided by someone who had been threatening him recently and was drunk and enraged you mean to tell me you see no scenario where self defense would play an applicable role? Left to die? Or was someone told to

call 911. We all have something to loose and your assumptions without facts just validates why innocent people do run. If the system worked, the way it should have the situation would not have occurred. Is that not a concern? I
