I was so relieved that she was found doing something that a typical child her age would do. Unfortunatly the existance of local pedifiles and the proximity of the highway and route to out of state also panicked me. Being a parent of the same age group of young girls I was fast out the door searching every where I could think after receiving the telephone call of an amber alert. I had my older sons,husband, neighbors, family looking also. I am very proud Lolo community members took this seriously and lended a hand in this search. Parents: Please talk often to your children about basic rules and checking in with you, know who their friends are and where they live and other classmates names and addresses, this all could have helped. Esp. to the parent of the classmate that this girl was playing at the house of. If your child has a new friend or not, verify that the parent of the visiting child KNOW they are at your house!
