It is about time!!!!!! Ray was a friend of mine. The fact that this has drug on for over 20 years is inexcusable. I can not tell you the pain that I still feel today for what Ray went through. I can not imagine how awful it must be for his family to still not have justice after more than 20 years. I read that Hill plays cards, bingo, and has a jailhouse job.... Really? that's nice. Ray can't play games. He has no job. Twenty plus years later and he is still dead. Being a Christian it is tough for me to think of taking another person's life, but in this case with the brutality and total lack of concern for another person's life that they showed I believe Hill and Combs (Combs was sentenced to life) should be put to death. The state needs to stop wasting my tax dollars on this type of human scum and rid them from this world. 20 years is long enough...end it now!

I am a christian and though I did not know Raymond I did know Timothy and Danny, went to school with both of them and I remember that fateful day on the bus when (shmooh)as we use to call timothy stated to others that he and Danny did something to a little boy that previous day. When you are as young as we were at the time that kind of thing doesn't really hit you. Even when the police came and got shmooh from school(Western Reserve)it wasn't a reality, but that night on channel 27 news it was real and we all stared at the t.v. in aw. What they did was inexcusable and they will both have to deal with God in the end, but for now it makes no sense in the fact that Danny is trying to make an excuse years later. Raymond did not deserve what they did to him, and to think that according to Danny and Shmooh "it was all fun" just shows that they are very cold and to have that on your concious for this long has got to be eating at them both no matter what they say. God has a way of working it out and in the end they both will get what they desrve as we all will, meaning those wishing death upon someone, remember Christ was crucified with a robber and a thief right next to him, but he forgave him and remembered him because his father would be the judge. God will judge these guys we cannot judge anyone.

I think its a shame that he is still trying to prove himself to be retarded. Stupid is more like it. The people who really knew danny also know he has always shown his stupidity. But instead of planting a foot in his a$$ when he needed it they just turnd their heads or made excuses for him. Raymond was robbed of his innocence and his life. He was raped, tortured, sodimized and burned. That's one hell of a way to go. Justice will prevail.

I was friends with Raymond. His father passed away last year exactly 21 years after his son to the day. Hill should have been strung to a tree and been tortured "islam style" for what he did. The whole "mentally retarded" thing infuriates me. The nerve of this guy trying to get a break from what he has done. When this happened I was in lockdown at home until they made teh arrests. My house was on palmyra about a block down from Rischer road (where it happened.. corner of Rischer and Palmyra in the little patch of woods there) The things they did to Raymond is to this day the worse I have ever heard done to a person. In on interview with Hill, he says that he is "Tired and wants to be where god is at". What teh HELL makes him think that he will ever meet god or be where god is at? If he does meet god it will only be for god to tell him "GO TO HELL!" as he opens the trap door.

to the person below me it was a boy he killed not a girl it was a boy.but anyways they should have killed him along time ago. that gut is no way mentally handicapped he went to police three different time befor he confesed with different storys the only reason he is takin the insanity ple is because he knows that it is unconstitional to put some one like that to death. but im sorry i dont care if he is metally handicapped or not at 17 years old either way you know right from wrong and there is no way at any time during the brutal murder of raymond he did not know that it was wrong he had already been put in jail befor for raping someone he knew better. what he did was just wrong and he should just be killed and i think they should not give him the normal death penalty because he should not have been able to live as long as he has he took a 12 year old little boys life in such a brutal way he should be put to death the same way so he can feel the pain that he put that poor inacent little boy through.

I also grew up in Warren Ohio (went to Reserve)and will never forget this incident. I remember being in class with Raymond's sister Paula not long after the incident. So sad. I often wonder how she has coped over the years with the horrific murder of her brother. For those of us who knew or knew of Danny and Timothy aka shmooh(why the hell was he called that), it was not hard to believe that they had done this. What is hard to imagine is how much that child (Raymond)suffered. I have been listening to the news and watching the papers over the last few years, and have been trying to keep up with the Danny Lee Hill mental retardation case. I think it is absolutely ludacrus that he can make this claim of mental ratardation. He is sick and dimented!!! There is no way any jusdge in their right mind will let him off death row!!! NEVER!!! I went to school with Raymend as well and it is terrible knowing what he went through at the hands of this jack off and his buddy!!! They should both burn in hell for what they did to Raymond!!!!!!!!!! I just hope that someday, Ray's mom gets the justice that she has long been looking for!!!!!!!!
