I almost laughed at the subject title myself. Cortland has so very MANY abandoned factory buildings that could be CHEAPLY renovated to office space and storage of (large manufacturing equipment from other cities, local businesses over-stock, even the beautiful cars that get "tucked away" during our mean winter. Whoever is in charge of "selling Cortland" SUCKS! I read of the fight over the Treasurers salary in the Cortland SubStandard and I think: wtf? WHO is "selling" this city for $-minus the degenerates and the circus parade of weirdo's we CAN provide:
AMPLE FACTORY SPACE
And Cortland should be doing a benchmark of cities the same size as us and FIGURING OUT WHICH COMPANIES WE SHOULD BE "TANTALIZING" with perks we WILL OFFER THEM SUCH AS:
lower tax rates on property
lower electic (how come Marathon peeps pay $14 a month and we in Cortland DROWN when it is too hot or too cold..oh yeah,$hitty forward thinking council.

Sink in one or LOW BALLING YOU to only sinking two companies and it will propel Cortland County's job opportunities, economy, etc etc. It doesn't even matter which "two" companies you sink, just get them to sign (and do the right thing to get them to do this!!!) and there are so MANY here that will apply, work their hardest and accelerate that company's expectations.
