I went in there the other day, and aside from the poor service, there was spit in my sub. I also talked to another friend of mine, and he said that he saw a mouse run across the floor. The subs that i've had in the past were good, and the service was alright. But recently it seems that Skip has let the place go. As far as the Tavern goes, Tiffany needs to stop drinking on the job. She makes Skip look like a bad person.

I agree with you Bobby that Skip has let his business go down. Every time I go in to King Submarine the service and food gets worse and worse. I am not sure if it is his hiring practicing or possible a lack of caring. I really hope that Skip can get back on track and make the subs that were great like he did five years ago. I refuse to take my family to this restaurant, we used to go every sunday and have our dinner.

Yea i agree with you both. Ive been going to the Tavern for years. I don't go there any more because of that fat ass slob drunk bar tender Tiffany. Nobody likes her, and she defiantly is the reason me and my friends have gone else where. I would always order food at King Sub and eat it at the Tavern but now I cant stand to even look at that drunk slob. Skip do your self a favor, and get rid of that girl before your bar fold's.

King Subs is one of the locally owned and operated businesses in Cortland, NY. I've been there so many times and the girls are ALWAYS perfect. I don't know about the Tavern because I don't go there but I assure you there are no mice, or spit in the food, or anything like that! Come on people. Instead of focusing on the bad, why not try to see the good?!?!And there are comment and suggestion boxes in King Subs, drop a note, Skip checks them and discusses them with his staff, take it directly to the man and the problem will be solved!!

When I go in to eat I always see a blond girl that makes my experience almost perfect! However there are otherS there that act like it's the end of the world to wait on someone or make their food! The blond girl is usually running around doing everything for the other girls! Poor girl! I see the others hiding in the back or sitting waiting for someone else to get it. That is ridiculous! I think the owner should get some real help in there!! Does anyone know who that girl is?

It saddens me to hear of these problems at Kings. I use to go there back in the 70's and when ever I come back to town I make sure to stop in. I've yet to find a sub done better then King's,maybe it's just me. I hope it will still be there the next time I come back to my home town. Take care Cortland you are missed.

King Subs has a lot of drama behind the food. I know people that have worked there and it is horrible! The night people always get shorted and nothing they do is right. No wonder the turnover is enormous... if I got treated like crap I wouldn't stay long either! It's one thing to have stress but to dread going to work because of the "management" is absolutely ridiculous. The food is great, the people are always friendly and the atmosphere is cozy. All I have to say is I will not take my business there until I hear about the employees getting treated better!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah classy for cortland maybe.. I've seen fifteen year olds with more common sense than that girl. How hard is it to mix liquors with juice or ice seriously? I'd like to see her do something like an office position where she can't use her permiscuous behavior to get ahead. And drinking on the job is one way to really get ahead!!!

Hey King Sub, why don't you just give me the sub I pay for, not give me attitude from someone who doesn't even work at that business. I'll be f***ed if I spend hard earned money to eat at a place, just to be harassed by someone who works at a bar I don't even drink at. Decent food, great staff that actually works there, piss poor treatment from someone who should stick to badly pouring drinks.

I agree...the bartender comes over and treats those girls like garbage and practically throws herself at customers. I witnessed a conversation between her and a MARRIED customer, saying they should go out when "she's not around", I almost threw up!! I haven't been back since. I don't want to listen to anything like that when I'm trying to eat, and being that open about one's "personal acquaintances" really shows customers the way out!

I went there the other night. Mens bathroom has 3 inches of mold, puck, and piss. the bar is a loaded with scumbags, nothing has changed. Tiffany is still a fat ass scum bucket. I seriously cant believe the establishment is still running. I know some body who worked at king sub said they would all spit in Tiffanys food hahahalololo. u get what u deserve. Karma is a bitch.

I was a student back in the 70s. If this is the same business it was located in College Town at the time.

Does anyone remember what was in a king sub's X-er?

I think it was roast beef, bacon, roasted red pepper, but I may be wrong and certainly that is not all the ingredients.

My father ran the donut shop next to the sub shop over 40 years ago. My aunt worked in your sub shop 40 years ago or more. Her name was Joyce.
