If I were that guy on trial for this killing, I would be nervous, very nervous. If he ends up in prison someone will get him. However, are there gangs in prison that don't like hells angels? Maybe they will look to him as a hero. If he beats this wrap, that is like a death sentence too. No winners here.
This is actually worse than picking a fight with a guy that knows karate!! I had a friend who did that, after the guy warned him and warned him, he finally bowed his head, put his hands together, and in one quick move which consistend of a leg kick and a karate chop, dropped my friend to the ground where he didn't get up let alone move. Karate is pretty respectful, the karate guy just bowed his head and put his hands back together and went and got a beer. Later he asked me how my friend was doing. 20 years later I still give my friend shit about taking on the karate guy.

I have recounted I cannot even find 319 USA hells angels But I can find about 10 USA hells angels I have read about in about a year in the papers for harming raping molesting AND MURDERING WOMEN AND CHILDREN .I can find another 20 plus for other crimes in that same time period for crimes such as ganging up and beating old men and killing one. 10 % of the gang in the papers within a bout a year for crimes and many with women and child victims Thats not normal. Lets not pretend and hide the problem change it punks.

I guess the kid had a gun because he was afraid of gang members like the hells angels ganging up on him if he accidentally bumped one or cut one off by accident driving. I was reading a story just in the last few months I think Nevada or Arizona a young man bumped 2 hells angels in a bar and they attacked him. When people live around cowards like hells angels the people should be allowed to shoot them when it is necessary.

Based on Farnsworth's description and court case in CC County, I am willing to bet he is addicted to some sort of drug, more than likely meth. This wouldn't at all surprise me if he knew MacLean or Foakes or one of the riders from the meth trade and had some sort of vendetta or past transgression. Also not surprised that CDCR folks denied the father's request. A convict serving time that is associated with a criminal group will never get out for a funeral. Unfortunately for him, his poor decision making abilities have cost him a last chance to see his son.
