4. Issue a formal apology for the actions of the department in this matter;
5. Correct the lies that have been printed in the media;

Wow!
Apology?
Apologize to the cheaters?
Why?
They should apologize to the Corsicana citizens.
We the citizens do not support the “Cheaters”!

“The police association asserted that the practice of having someone else take the TLETS certification tests is widespread and had been going on for “some time.” It states that Baggett lied when she said it doesn’t happen.”
“This was a commonly accepted practice within the Department and should not have been dealt with in the manner that it was,” the letter states. The letter suggests that Baggett be fired.”
“At the heart of the letter, the police association offers eight recommendations to Bratton.“If the above actions are not taken, the Association will have no choice but to take action. We are not only taking action on the behalf of the Officers of this city, but for the community as a whole,” the letter states.”

They should be ashamed that is accepted by them!

Since when the police association represents the citizens?
They represent their own interests.
Who represents the citizens?

This situation happens precisely because these people have been in the force for so long. They feel entitled to do what they pleased without repercussion. Again nobody should work for a city or government for more than 10 years or 2 terms after that time they become professional parasites willing to suck the taxpayers’ blood.

"We, the people", support corrective actions against the “cheaters”.
We have many new people that would be very happy and ready to work.
Clean the system Mr. Bratton, We support you!

"I will continue to strive, despite resistance from some employees, to transform the culture of this organization, which has developed over many years, from a lack of accountability, staff development, and structure, to one of the most professional agencies in the state."

We, the people, support you!
Clean the system Mr. Bratton.

"Regretfully, I now question the ethics of the entire police department, especially any officer who continues membership with an organization that so eloquently demonstrates they condone, support, and even recommend less than mediocre standards of ethics. The CPOA response is childishly pointing fingers at playmates like Kindergartners.

If one of my employees who is required to take tests every year had another employee take their test for them at the precise moment I found out they would BOTH be fired, escorted from the premises and the appropriate agency notified of their fraudulent actions. That’s integrity. My clients deserve nothing less.

You may recall my support for our honest hardworking police officers. Obviously I do not support dishonest officers at the same time. Hopefully the members of CPOA can rethink THEIR standards, and the representative statements that CPOA has made on their behalf as well."
