"Spending has increased, with a jump of more than 10 percent in health insurance costs accounting for an extra $200,000 being added to the overall bill for the county’s 300 employees. A County-Court-at-Law was also given the go-ahead at a projected cost of around $300,000.

A two percent salary increase for all county employees was also agreed by commissioners earlier this year. County Auditor Kathy Hollomon and employees from her office were approved by district court order to have their salaries increased in line with other county employees at Monday’s meeting."

Forget the fact that we are in a recession, forget the fact that people is losing their homes and jobs, forget the fact that business are losing revenues and profits, this is the reality of this country, a government with no limits when it comes to spending.
Don’t worry the “stupid taxpayer” will pay the bill!
