Is there anything wrong with an employee of the city issuing permits for businesses when she has strong ties to her family business? Actually she issues permits for and strongly recommends her parents business. I feel it is legally wrong for her to do this and could result in a lawsuit being filed. The city definately does not need another suit to be filed against them. The planning and zonimg department needs to assist her in finding another office to work out of and remove her from permitting signs for the city. Sign Pro's used to advertise Allison Collins as a co-owner also. I could probably produce the tapes of the commercials. But then again, what else goes on in city hall we should know more about. Imagine that!!!

When I bought some signs, I got several estimates and the best one came from “Sign Pros”, that’s the only reason I gave them my business. I believe “Sign Pros” is the leader in the Corsicana Sign Market. Whatever happens in the Planning and Zoning office I don’t believe has anything to do with the success from “Sign Pros”.
What’s the reason that you are attacking this lady?
Are you afraid someone is going to find out all the “dirty stuff” that goes around in PZ?

You are a clown?
Accusing this family of taking advantage of her daughter’s position in PZ!
What about all the crooks running the city (families)?
Do you need the names of these families and their ties to Mr. Brown?
Are you going to accuse them too of using their influences or this is a personal matter with Sign Pros?
You have to be fair, if you are going to talk about corruption expose everyone involved…

All the stuff that goes on in P and Z office is exactly what I am talking about. Everyone would be amazed if they knew half of what went on there

It all has to start somewhere doesn't it? The city is so corrupt, and no one will step up and do anything.

Totally agree!
But why it has to start with her?
Because her family would like to be involved in the city council?
I think you are trying to remove her because they are not part of you “special interest group”.

Addressing Concerned in Little Rock. Obviously you have some axe to grind. As far as receiving special treatment, you are quite far from the truth. I have worked carefully with the city to help advise customers of the most acceptable signage and keep signage friendly for the customer and the city. You will find as a customer of Sign Pro's that our main concern is customer service. You will also find when you meet with Alison Collins at the city of Corsicana in Planning & Zoning that she is also customer friendly, a trait she inherited from her mother.
So, all I can tell you is that if you have concerns feel free to bring it to the horses mouth, what part of the horse am I addressing?
Feel free to call me at Sign Pro's and advise me of your concerns. I am an interested citizen.

Concerned...that's going a little too far putting peoples names on there. The Can is a little town. You can't do anything anywhere if you're not going to do business with anyone who is either related, or buds with someone else.

I believe "Concerned" is someone competing for business with "Sign Pros".

Hey!!! To all concerned Corsicana Citizens, just like myself. If you go to the Chamber of Commerce Page and look under Sign Pro's it does show that it is Owned and Operated by Dana and Alison Collins. Hmmmm. Plus I hear they use more than just their business to try and attack people, Alison uses her position at the City to get away with many things.

It should be Sign Pros, not Sign Pro's. If you run a sign business, shouldn't your grammar be better than that?

Oh, relax. I'm just kidding around.

It would be nice for the Texas Rangers, Attorny Generals Office or the F.B.I. to look at the paper trail at City Hall (Audit). We might all be surprised to see who's hand is in the pot.

First of all I don't have or want a sign business. Im concerned for Corsicana. We have enough corruption in this City. Yes, I agree that they need to do some digging into everyone and eveything at City Hall. You might be suprised what someone can do that works for P&Z. Look at evrything that just happened with Sherri Warren, do you honestly believe she was acting alone???? Not a chance. If you are part owner of a compnay you should not be allowed to work in a department that will help profit this. End of story.

I agree, if you cant do your city job without profiting from it in another busness that you own, it is corrupt. You should back away from one, or the other, before it comes back on you. With all the snakes in the grass around you, it does not matter if it is the best deal for the city.It is not the best deal for you.
