I am thinking about climbing a utility pole and stealing a tranformer, question is can I cut through the wires with a hacksaw or should I use a pair of bolt cutters.

Last time I stole one, I used a hack saw but it was hard climbing down with one hand. Got some good splinters in my @#$%. Those transformers aint light.

I have some very graphic pics of two individuals who attempted to steal wire off a riser pole energized at 14.4kv. Needless to say they didnt make it to the scrap yard with their haul. I also have been a responder to a call where some guys actually did steal a transformer off of a pole. You could see where they dragged it down the road then into a field. Unfortunately, they left their buddy in the grass by the pole dead as a door nail! You would be simply amazed at how often these instances occur! We got some real winners out there!

I saw one where the guy was on the pole and had some of those gloves on thinking that they would insulate him. Blew him out of his clothes. A friend of mine used to replace ground wire on telephone poles in 5th ward for the light company. He said they were climbing poles that he had just got off of in plain view. Geez.

Uhhh, lets see, if I wear these glubs, I will be okay dontcha think....

Left him in the field and didnt even call for help. Guess they werent very close after all.

Man you guys are sure judgemental, you see I happen to know that there are quite a few facts left out in the news around here, as usual! The news shoulda told you the man's death is still unknown since actually there was no signs of electrocution and that his cousin gave him cpr and brung him back to life and then he died again and how they had rabbits with them or even how he ran to call 911 himself to get lil ronnie help!! Hows that for news didn't your mama ever tell you beleive only have what you see and none of what you hear!! A man is dead and died in anothers arms who happens to still be upset so I see nothing funny

Yeah...I'm sure the police just made up the whole copper thing...

They do that alot...arrest people for no reason ya' know.

They get to the receiving desk and say, "it ain't my turn to make up a reason for arrest...you come up with one Hank!"

Don't pee on my head and tell me it's hailing!!

But then again I am sure that all of you have never made any mistakes in your life that effected you or someone you loved or maybe you was to scared to addmitt it a real criminal would have dragged the dead guy to a safe zone before calling 911 not left him lying in the middle of the crime scene!! He had every oppertunity it was storming that day and the court room will be clauged up, probably even go to trial wich means people will have jury dutty!!!

I personally take offense to your generalization of all posters within this forum! I, in absolutely no way, said or otherwise implied that the death of any human being was funny! Simply put its a tragic event no matter the circumstances! As to the "real" criminal you speak of, I guess in the event I described above this person did not fall into that category! Apparently he had a choice, either he could take his injured or dead buddy or the stolen goods. He chose the later! Again, I only speak of events of which I have personal knowledge of and am in no way refering to any story or news article! I was on scene! I would really appreciate it if you would not broadcast your distane in a general manner!

post # 9 says (THEY HAD RABBITS WITH THEM) now that clears everything up, it was the static electricity off of the rabbit fur that zapped him. and all these RABBIT facts were brought to light by someone called THUMPER-well now seems like THUMPER is a rabbit name. you know THUMPER and PETER COTTENTAIL.

I would like you all to remember ...the results from the autopsy have not been released...this man had children that are suffering a tremendous loss. Not one of you were there and not one of you know the truth...Weither or not this was criminal or not...please dont forget the innocent that one day will find this crap because you people obviously have no life so you have to speculate and trust in a system that is not perfect either. Ronnie you will be remembered for all of my life...Love has no boundries and no limits....rest now...we are her watching over what you had to leave behind.....
