I thought all the work was to add turn lanes. Now I heard that funds not there to do that. So they are going to do utilities update and leave the streets like they are. (with no turn lane) JGK is this true

As has told in the local papers several times, Hwy 31 (7th Ave) is a state project. The State told the City and Utility Companies to move their lines to the very edge of the right-of-way. The State of Texas is currently building Storm drains down the middle of Hwy 31. Supposely the next project will be a wider road and turn lanes when Austin funds it.
