Can someone explain why: There is a vendor that the city regularly uses for non-priority services / supplies that are readily available from other local vendors. This particular vendor has been owing property taxes since 2007. Amt owed to City/ County is more than $ 8000. Since April of this year, the city has paid $ 9700. Last year, the City Paid more than $ 15,000. Should not a criteria be that a vendor must be current on monies owed the city before services are used by a vendor. Why not use vendors that pay taxes regularly. Last partial payment was for year 2007 made in Nov 2010.

Ann I really like all your research but I think you should report to proper authorities so they can prosecute this administration. How long will this continue?

Names can be found by looking at City Website - finance department and review the weekly check registers. Wealth of information and then ask for public info. You know that thing I do so well. That makes CM upset. I sent a doozie in today. That all thought I had given up on. Naw - Will see if I have to ask for an Attorney General's ruling on this one. I have previously unofficially discussed what has been going with reps from certain state agencies. They were shocked at what I told them. But they are not the ones that investigate. But I know who to go to when I am ready to proceed. Election results may be impetus

Ann you are doing an excellent job. You should create a non-profit group to fight corruption in this town, how about “citizens watch group”. I know that all the research you do cost some money. I would like to donate for the cause, where can I send donations so you can continue the fight? I will be very happy when they prosecute them for all the harm and abuse they have done to so many citizens.
