OK, since our demographics currently preclude us from inticing more "big box" type development, how about we talk about what kind of small businesses we are lacking in the 'Can? I would be willing to start a small business here if I knew what people wanted. I'm sure others would too. I'm already self employed and could focus more on farm type stuff to fill my time but that's not going to help Corsicana any outside of giving decent tasting tomatoes away to people I know! Are there gaps to fill here? What do you go to Rice or Hillsboro for that you absolutely can not get here? Liquor is one thing that would boost tax revenue but I don't see it happening anytime soon. Clearly, bars are out. What else is there?

I've never done retail but I bet someone out here could do that. Keep the ideas coming. You never know who is reading here and looking for something to do/create as a business.

Good Lord, that would create quite the stir! I doubt it would go over well though. All we need is for the meth heads to have easy access to paraphanalia (yes, I spelled that oh so wrong) Birdie, you're a hoot! I guess you are an owl type of birdie.:)

You clearly don't live here or haven't for a while. We have an adult toy store. I bet they even have the tiny condoms for people like you!

Do we have an ebay consignment store in the area? In DFW, there were several places that offered to sell other people's items on ebay for a percentage of the sale. They seemed to do fairly well and it wouldn't take a lot of capital to start up. Is that something that people out here need/would use if it were available?

Now I am beginning to understand the source of your frustration and consequent need to litter a topix forum with garbage posts. Your significant other is the one for whom you seek the little snuggies. To combat your frustration, I suggest you go to the adult toy store and purchase something to aid you with this problem. You may even want to get something with a power cord so as to save money on "D" batteries.
