Any news on the rush of water heading to the beach on Sunday. It was an incredible site - like something out of a Universal Studios. Water gushing down the canal, coming face to face with the ocean. I understand from talking to the lifeguard that this happens about once a year as there is a break in the Santa Cruz mountains. But is there a warning? People could have easily been swept away, as the path is right next to where the little tots play in the mostly still water. It was really an incredible site!

Jaime, need more coherent info. What beach? What canal? What "break" in SC mntns? Exactly what "incredible site" were you visiting yesterday?

Lots of zeros from "over the hill" parking where they want, throwing trash everywhere and acting up down by the harbor this weekend..seems that parking ticket doesnt matter to them....who cares its only 30 bucks or so...I'll block this guys driveway..and really piss em off...another holiday come and gone...well, at least some businesses made money...Johnny at the Harbor, Back to normal.

Brings back fond memories! Why I do not miss living so close. The price you pay for seeing lovely young bodies in skimpy clothing. And you want sympathy? Its over, until next time. Maybe you can get a tazer permit combined with your parking permit to keep you entertained. Wish I had a few hundred extra. I would buy you a racing floor jack, and 4 casters sets to put under wheels to roll cars around. Then you could have fun videoing the zeroes wondering how their car go to its new location.

Only 1 stabbing downtown does equate a quiet and nothing critical weekend for downtown Santa Cruz.

This guy needs to be put away for a very long long time. Hes a dead beat dad out comitting crime to support his drug habit, and all the while endangering the community. I plead with the judges of this county to give him a real sentence. They must be as sick of seeing this loser in front of them as I am of reading about him in the paper...

There should be roving tow trucks, just hook em up and impound. No tickets required. If my driveway was blocked the vehicle would be moved one way or another, ASAP.

What do you think is under the breakwaters. Nowadays we have to pull oil and gas. Might be a few bodies of hard asses under there too. Those girls that love you, well once your done buying drinks, they throw your keys into the harbor, then announce they are trans. Then if you yell or hit them, you go to jail. Then the pants gottin into are not what you hoped for. Then you call me to make you new ones, and I get to tell you how much it will cost.

Dude, you generalize so ridiculously and try and sound like SUCH the hard case. Please, stop trying to prove what a hard loc you are. My pops lives in the Harbor and haven't seen too many issues as of late. Yes, many Valleys throw trash and act obnoxious, but to paint them all that way is just plain ignorant. Pretty much what your opinion amounts to me most of the time.

Dude?? Did I hit a nerve? Its just my opinion, you know, they are like ---holes, everyone has on...And I am a hard case when it comes to destroying the once great beaches we have here...Like, when you could take a few beers on the beach!!Parties and booze? not anymore!! Why? I blame it (mostly) on the as you say "Valleys" getting drunk, raising hell, trashing the place and scooting over the hill...Ignorant?? Im there Dude, in the Harbor, I see it! Oh by the way? did my comment on the chubby chicks hit home?..take care my friend....Johnny at the Harbor, Picking up trash.
