Oh my God this is so heartbreaking. I am so sorry to the Tailor family, my prayers and thoughts are with you guys.

It shouldn't be too hard to spot a truck with damage. But like I said in the other article, the Police can search for the registered owner of a car with this description. All it takes it a little effort, I think they should be making a statement about that, and tell the county residents that something IS being done in this case.

What a bunch of sicko racist dirtb.ags you all are. An innocent man dies crossing the street and you extremist hatemongers, all 4 of the posters, turn it into a rant about immigration and "brown" people.

Truly disgusting.
Crawl back into your hate-holes and stay away from Santa Cruz, you weasels.

RIP Harish

Your hatred and ignorance didn't allow you to comprehend the article. He was a citizen. He came here, loved this country and obtained his citizenship. What a loving description his family painted of him and I hope they find solace in each other during this horrible time in their lives.

Sad.

Was he really Harish Tailor the Tailor? He must have lived for his craft.

So sorry he lost his life, and the perp is a coward. He or she should come forward and take responsibility.

These comments are all ridiculous, always immediately accusing/assuming that it was someone illegal. The dumb thing is that when an updated article comes out tomorrow saying that some white trash who lived all his miserable life in Boulder Creek was under the influence everyone's opinion changes. I am ashamed that I live in such a place.

LOL. Using your language skills as a benchmark, I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that

a) Youre not college-educated.
b) You didn't hold one of those lost high-tech jobs that you are lamenting.
c) English is not your native tongue

At least you you realize you suck :-)

You are unemployed because you can't start sentences with capitol letters and you can't use punctuation. This is why you are unemployed.

The other day I was the victim of a h&r while in a crosswalk with my kid. The truck had a McCain for President sticker. There is diversity among scumbags around here.

Wow, what ignorance and malice of heart. A good and decent man is killed by a hit and run and you have the gall to question whether he should have been here? He was a citizen you moron. I have a better idea, why don't all white trash racists who are an embarrassment to the rest of us caucasians please move to Kentucky or Alabama and build a wall around yourselves. I'm getting fed up with all the dumb and ignorant white people who believe they have some kind of birthright to this country. Our ancestors were immigrants and that was what this country was about - a refuge you idiots. Yes we have laws about immigration and we should enforce them. But a citizen is a citizen no better or worse that he legally immigrated here last week or his ancestors 100 years or 200 years ago.

Recommendations:

A)Sentences are not usually 5 lines long and require periods, commas, and various other forms of punctuation.

B)We Americans can't take your ignorant Bullshit

C)Go back to school or get the hell off this forum.

My sincere condolences to the now devastated family. I work downtown and often get out late. Sat. at 11:45 pm there were gangbangers doing 50m/h donuts around the first center divide of Pacific, missing my car parked on Pacific next to the alley to the Kuumbwa by a hair each time. I took photos, which I'll gladly email to anyone interested. One licence plate is clearly visible: 2WXQ448. How about closing the liquor store at Pacific and Laurel and having police parked on that corner of Laurel/Pacific to stop the nightly street racing.

The man came here legally and followed the rules. That's good enough for me. I heard the original H&R accident report on the police scanner. The victim hit the windshield according to what the police said on Friday night; so you might want to watchout for cracked or broken glass too.
