" The motorcycle went missing in September and the owner intended to file a report..."

I wonder when he planned on doing that. I thought I was a procrastinator, but this guy takes the trophy on procrastination. He's lucky to get the motorcycle back. And now the crook gets his due.

And the story unfolds about this creepy Jeremy Ochoa. Its also been reported on the local KION news that law enforcement report Ochoa claims he bought the meth while at the apartment of the child as well as he was under the influence when he arrived there.
Quite a few people here claim the mother is innocent and the baby returned to here ASAP. How can people even think that.
The mother should be held just as responsible for endangering that innocent baby as the father is considering the facts and circumstances that are being revealed. She had to know Jeremy was under the influence when he arrived as well she had to be aware and or present when he bought drugs from some drug dealer in her home.
Save that poor child the misery and danger of being raised by two irresponsible and endangering parents.

Demayo will likely spend the rest of his life in jail.

Well, if he doesn't live past 64 he will.

Police nab DeLaveaga school vandal
A 19-year-old Santa Cruz man was arrested early Monday after he was spotted using his truck to tear up the DeLaveaga Elementary School grounds, police said.
Anthony Fambrini, 19, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. Police were tipped to the vandalism by either a neighbor of the Morrissey Boulevard school or a passer-by.
DeLaveaga Principal David Freed said Fambrini was still on campus when police arrived, his truck stuck in the mud.
"I'm so thankful we finally caught somebody," Freed said. "When it's rainy and muddy, cars and trucks get out there and do doughnuts and wheelies. It's upsetting because it takes a lot of time and district personnel to repair the damage"
Freed said early damage estimates were about $5,500.

A Vermont judge got into hot water with a light sentence in a sex case, that he himself reversed.
Demayo has to first survive to age 64, then become the first serious sex offender ever to get parole the first time, then if and when paroled, dodge extended commitment as a sexual predator. He's done.

...that the Aptos owner owed him money and wasn't reporting the supposed theft, because they didn't want the police involved...
Is reading "craigslist" the "chief's duty" or are we paying detectives to go "phishing"???

FYI, he will serve only 12 years of his 24 year sentence before he is out on parole, which makes him 52 years old upon release.

Once again, the Sentinel making bogus claims to sell their rag.

"Thomas Francis DeMayo, 40, will likely spend the rest of his life in state prison, according to assistant district attorney Andrew Isaac."

"Wrong" reading comprehension is your friend, the DA made the claim that he would likely spend the rest of his life in prison, not the Sentinel, as clearly stated in YOUR POST.

You ignoramuses drive me crazy with your jumping to conclusions without the slightest nod to the facts right under your nose.

It must be something in the water; I've lived all over the world but found native Santa Cruzans, by far, the dumbest, underachievers on this planet!

Where does anyone get the idea he serves half time?
There is NO good time for Demayo's life crime. He serves the whole 24 before he's even eligible for parole.
At least the poster chose the right name.

Actually dated him when he was arrested for the bike.
He bought the stolen bike off a friend and actually did put it on Craiglist.

Every time he got a call he would say there was no paper work.
