But you spin it however you want con-man. The fact remains we're stopping your Fascist version of freedom(?) and continuing with our left of center agenda.
But standby con-man, soon you won't be able to find a political party that will take your extreme right wing arse. Even Libertarians will not accept you.
Does my heart good.
Liberty and justice for all. All but you Fascist of course.
In reality, Libertarians are closer in ideology to what the founders of our nation intended for the United States, and I'm more Libertarian than anything. Are you saying that Libertarianism is Fascism? Then you are truly nuts.

But I will agree with on one point: Modern liberals do not understand liberty. Nor are they in any way ready to accept it. That is why they must classify liberty as an archaic notion no longer relevant in today's world.

OK. The FFs were what they were. Almost 250 years later, "we the people" are what we are and "we the people" are certainly not "Libertarians".

Yes and no but you are.

OK.
We "Modern liberals" just reelected one of us, still control the Senate and threw some of your right wing nut jobs out of the House. Oh, and Obama care is the law of the land.
We may not understand your "cherry picked" version of liberty, but we sure know how to get elected.

Come back in 20 years and see how things stand then. You right wing religious nuts are losing ground there too.

I would bet that you have a GIVE ME LIBERTY bumper sticker on your truck. Give ? Work for it.

You are obviously not paying attention.....to anything.
There are not only new gun laws, AND people threatening to confiscate firearms, but tens of thousands rallied for maintaining constitutional rights nationwide, not just a few hundred in Farmington.
It isn't "very American" for our so-called "leaders" in government to violate their oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution, with full support of sheep who mistakenly consider themselves "free citizens".

Liberty is an unchangeable constant. It cannot be "cherry picked". It either is, or is not.

Elect who you will, but your ideology is failing. The evidence is all around us. It will eventually completely collapse of it's own accord.

And your ObamaCare? It is proving it's worth by increasing health care costs, food prices, and killing jobs, as I type this. So laugh away, liberal. We know who the con-man is, and he's sitting in the Oval Office...when he's not on vacation.

What an inane statement.

Liberty is freedom from restriction--politically speaking, freedom from government control and restriction. Look around you. Government restriction can be found everywhere.

People under liberty theoretically should be free to grow and smoke whatever they want. They should be free of gvernment licensing to operate a vehicle.....with or without insurance, as the choose. Why should there be any restrictions on property? I should not be restricted from building an outhouse in my front yard right by the sidewalk if I want.

You indeed cherry pick you liberties, CN.

Really? How am I "cherry picking"? I agree that people SHOULD be able to grow and smoke whatever they want, they SHOULD be free to operate a vehicle without a license, with or without insurance, as long as they follow the rules of the road, everyone should simply understand that they take their lives into their own hands every time they get behind the wheel, there should be no restriction upon private property, and you SHOULD be able to build an outhouse in your front yard right by the sidewalk if you want to (though I don't know why you would want to, I'd rather build mine out back)...as long as it remains on YOUR property. So please, again, please point out where I'm "cherry picking"?

I've long held that EVERY law passed since about 1900 should be repealed and reviewed to determine if it's harmful to the nation, or even necessary. Certainly every law since WW2 should be considered, as history tells us that America's economic decline appears to have begun as a result of laws passed between 1900 and 2000.

Mexico already disregards ordinances and laws. That's why it's a 3rd world picture card with your violence and trashed out neighborhoods. I've gotten more flat tires and rattled up cars driving through your state than any other. Go ahead and keep thinking like you are. Just try and redirect the wind and flow of the polluted waters away from the rest of us.

He's still president and Obama care is the law of the land. But I do hope you rebel against both. In some news worthy fashion, that is. I would like to see what you're really made of. Right now, you're just a blow hard con not to me.

Ooops. Should be con nut not con not....you're just a con nut.... Con nut, that is.

I would love to own the property surrounding you. I could have lots of fun expressing MY LIBERTIES. Loaded with barking dogs, a dump form my garbage, a few smelly pigs, perhaps a couple of crack houses, street people would be welcome. Of course I would visit it once in a while and leave off some more of MY LIBERTIES.
Perhaps a few very bright lights, loud rock music, periodically paint over spray on your cars, a practice range for my AR shooting.
Aaaah, sweet land of LIBERTY and phuck your neighbor.( The Libertarian Mantra.)

Another liberal hack talking trash. Having a imposter as President signing to LAW OF THE LAND, i.e.Sequestration of 2011, and now (currently) having HIM back-track to get around the LAW OF THE LAND.

This is what dis-gusts me and a great many NON-Liberals extremist hacks, who oppose the policies of this White House Administration.

Democrats who sign up and impose laws on the rest of us - but then take cover or lay blame or BEING IRRESPONSIBLE - when POLITICS trump American well-being.

The same arguments against the White House (2000-2008) but to far MORE GREATER/SERIOUS domestic/international issues suddenly don't matter in the eyes Liberal wack-jobs.

I don't under-stand how anyone can defend a totally off-based US Govt concerned only with their public persona to americans while the World world totally knows the US Government.

I see though 'some' news reports FINALLY reporting on some questionable policies that this White House implements.

We NEED more news coverage.....before it is too late.

You do realize I live in NEW Mexico, not Mexico, right? They are two, separate, distinct places.

But perhaps a lot of folks from back east don't realize that.

You being a modern liberal and all, I guess I understand your attitude. Being personally responsible, and a good neighbor, kind of goes out the window when the government takes over your life for you, right?
