Wow....cn got to use his gun! Did you kill the bad guy? Squach says by the time you pull your gun, you shoot to kill, and he described how he'd do it. It's very Charles Bronson in his revenge shoot em ups....or Rambo or something. How exciting!

Your flippant replies to serious situations are indicative of the modern liberal: You ridicule what you don't understand.

A bit of advice: Don't get your survival info from Charles Bronson or "Rambo" movies.

And I guess that a Police Officer's Survival Creed is too much for them as well and they should be disarmed.

The problem is twofold. 1: It is too easy for people who shouldn't be able to have weapons to get them. I think there should be a licensing process, in which, just like with a drivers license, you can lose it, but also lose your weapons. Similar to how senior citizens need to renew their licenses more frequently, basically. Think about it, should someone with paranoid schizophrenia be allowed to have firearms? What about someone with Alzheimers?

And 2: We of course need better mental health care, and better access to it.

What is the issue? Mass killings? Murders? Fewer accidents with guns than with cars. Fewer deaths than with cars and prescription drug poisonings (which leads them all. Want to stop the mentally ill from accessing weapons? Then everyone gets a mental health evaluation.

That makes sense. Get a shrink to predict. I guess we are working on algorihthms to predict future behavior. Stop criminals from accessing guns also. And the rest of the population. Well too bad. The tail wags the dog.

Like Google and NSA. Read everyones communications. Use keywords. See if they own guns. Actually it is being done. The new wave of the future. How else do they assess. Not HUMINT. Computers do a much better job. Like MIB for healthcare.

What is the issue you say? Guns are "the issue". Too much violence involving guns. Car deaths and drug poisonings and storms and climate change and crime and...are separate issues. It ain't hard.

First thing you've written that makes sense.

Well, there is plenty of shotgun ammo to be had. But a double barrel over a pump? Go Biden. You can't make this up. He is an NRA stooge who has had us. He has stock holdings in Ruger and S&W. Because of their backorders he is on to Mossberg and Remington.

Are these holdings listed on his financial disclosure statements?

You do bring up a good point, though. An amendment can be changed, time to change the Constitution.
Repeal the second amendment.
Right...repeal all the amendments. What did our forefathers know...what did they fight and die for? So our rights could be chipped away at, little by little until we are not a free nation? You are wrong sir. It is not time to change the Constitution. It is time however, for those with a backbone to stand up for what the hundreds of thousands of dedicated veterans died to protect...our Constitution as IT IS WRITTEN. Period. Every single amendment. Progressives can go back to their roots. This country is a free country. There is no place left on earth to go to set up a free nation. We're it. We can no longer migrate to an uninhabited land to setup a republic. If we don't protect the Constitution AS IT IS WRITTEN, where do we go from here? Back to the UK, back to the mistakes that have been made and learned from. Our forefathers worded this Constitution in the way that they did for a reason.

They wanted to be able to raise local militias to supplement the small standing army because the british were coming back. And they did. Something particular to the times. Like the third amendment.

The framers would be appalled at how the gun nut lobby has distorted this to make a buck off of dumb goobers and promote extremist politics.

http://washingtonexaminer.com/eric-holder-dro... And they wouldn't stand a chance against the might of the US government.

http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/... And they don't have to worry about that 4th Amendment either.

And look at the far right gun nut media outlets these stories are coming from. They are bogus. Don't see them in the mainstream press. Goes to show their paranoia.

Excellent points once again.

How stupid! What do you think the "amendments" do? They add to or change the constitution. That's why their called amendments. The FFs realized changes/additions would be necessary from time to time. That's why they described in the const. how to change it. In fact, many of the amendments were made by some of the FFs.
Get a brain.

You are welcome. Have always been against the hysteria over the Amendments. It is, after all, a living document and this is the 21st century.
