NM utility plans experiment using Colorado water
A New Mexico utility plans to use some of the water it gets from Colorado to test the idea of pumping water underground for use later during times of drought or high demand.

To think I was actually concerned about the drought there and was trying to figure out ways to try and resolve your problems. I'll just leave that for MannyO to come up with a solution.
