This won't take too long to see more empty promises. Gee, I wonder who they are related two, this time?

1)....Boutique Air project manager said his company will also staff customer service agents and a station manager.....the airline is working to secure a private facility at the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport with shuttle service to the main terminal.

2.) Janway said the committee worked "really hard"...

3.) "I am excited about...Carlsbad to Dallas. It is a good hub," he said.

BS filter for #1: What, staff and a service manager is over and above other carriers? It's a legal requirement for ALL carriers, ya dolt. Also, you can't even land at DFW. You don't have landing rights or the secure the secure terminal - a hugely expensive hurdle - costing more than your planes.

BS filter for #2: Putting "really hard" in quotes makes that as plausible as "Dr." Goldstein selling snake oil on Saturday morning stations.

BS filter for #3: DFW is a good hub. Wow, you broke out the thesaurus for that one, genius. Did you work '...really hard...' to craft that pronouncement for us hillbillies?

Will this service be limited to business travelers only? How many flights out and in each day?

Usually services of this sort serve everybody. They typically leave the outstation at 7 am and 3pm returing at 11am and 10pm respectively to serve the business traffic best. If the planes fill up, they sub-service their route and landing rights to a 3rd party carrier who has 19 seat twins using the same time slots (which has no impact upon the traveler)

If the planes are near empty and losing money these outfits occasionally try to skip flights and claim the plane is on the fritz - which is dastardy, Heebish, and wrong to the paying public. But they dare not do that often or the FAA is BOUND to revoke their Part 135/121 route with prejudice against subsequent route apps.

My heart goes out to puddle-jumper outfits. But I know that startups like this one will never be a going concern. They're only here to scam us on the 'Essential Air Service' funds, plus put in two extra years of service at a loss just so we won't howl in disgust at our County officials (all worked out ahead of time).

My last sentence edified:(all worked out BEHIND CLOSED DOORS ahead of time) That's the part Janway types worked "reeeeeelllly hard" on.

Otherwise, casual bumpkins like you or me could counsult on DOT Domestic AirTransport service Law on our lunchhour riding a uni-cycle. For free.

But its the snakey-jew schinannigans that takes a real gub'ment official to work out that makes them all rich when they retire.

Your question did bring to mind one weird exception. There was one Part 121 carrier who DID business as Son Air hauling oilfield smart-guys from Houston to Angola and back in MD-11s for years; one flight every other day as I recall. But that was sheilded under a Part 129 d/b/a business relationship.

Okay, I'll come clean. This is what I know about airlines:

Back when I was a 23-year-old punk, me and my crew were flying DC-6s hauling steel at night out of Detroit.

The 200 employee airline was owned by a Jew. Every December till early January, the sonoffffaby6ch would lay us pilots off just spite the birth our Lord and Saviour - just about the time we needed Christmas money for our families.

Excuse me Miss Marple, but can you prove this Lord and Saviour exists? I know they taught you that Santa Clause was real when you were young, same thing as Jebus, but the ones that taught you Jebus was real are making 10% of your money.

yeah, yea and yes. I got the whole small scope and big picture. It wasn't Pilot's idea to deal the death. It was the insistance of the Jews - the promised people who lost Devine favor and take out that loss bit-by-bit on gentiles wherever they settle to this day.

Churchy types always presume we're unwashed in the Scriptures just like commissioners presume we're hillbillies when it comes to 'airplanes'.

I have to say Spiro-agnew, if you are not the NM Air owner you must be a paid spokesperson for NM Air's management. I can tell by the condescending tone of your posts and the way you refer to us all as "Hillbillies." I really wish everyone could've heard how the NM Air owner talked to the group of people at the meeting last week. I was one of those concerned "hillbillies" in the audience there to listen (as I had questions about the Albuquerque flights). I went in totally neutral to NM air and Boutique and came out totally pissed off at the way this guy from NM Air referred to our community, its city councilors and the way we think as a community! Too bad the current Argus didn't get a copy of the tape for their article.

I acutally know the guy that runs boutique airlines - he is a good person that will do things to serve the NM community. I think this Greg Kahlstorf is totally insano. I feel confident that the justice will prevail for the NM citizens in the end.

About 5 years ago, I spent many hours of my own time and money writing, calling emailing our State to reject air service to ABQ under the Essential Air Service waste fund. And I do remember they flew Caravans. You local residents now ridicule me as a spokesman for that very company. I never said 'you' people are hillbillies. I said that Janways's committe spoke to us like we were hillbillies. Read my posts. Read them again and again until you GET what I'm trying to tell government-appointed committee members:'WE ARE NOT IDIOTS!'

This is what I was trying to say: Just because you got hand-picked by a Mayor (crook or no crook) does not mean that your knowledge of air-route law or airservice operations is above the rest of us.

That, plus I could give advice that would give Carlsbad travelers huge savings in time, money and humiliation: DRIVE. But the whole reason a committee was formed was because Janway is a politican and thus a crook and is driven to filtch taxpayers out of (Essential Air Service) grant money. Just like artists (Artist by Nature) receive our taxpayer grant money to submerge crucifixes in piss and display them calling them 'art'.

Mom and Pop Taxpayer, I'm ready to recieve you thanks and I'll carry on trying to save you money.

One thing I'd like to ask all Topic readers is this: Why am I the only guy who answers to each and every single gub'ment grant, proposal, subsidy or program: NO!

For the committee to be formed and for Natural Artist in the audience be concerned is that they ALL presumed the gub'ment taxpayer money MUST BE SPENT. Was anyone brainey enought to stand up and vocally reject any gub'ment money needs to be spent at all?

Believe you me: if there were a way for a going private enterprise to make money on a Carlsbad-DFW route, they'd have figured it out by now and our grand-children wouldn't be saddled with national debt that includes Big Gub'ment ideas like Janways.
