Are you people as insane as Nehemiah Griego? Give him a Second Chance? Do you mean a Second Chance Kevlar Vest or a Second Chance to get free and slaughter the immediate family members he didn't get to kill? Do you know how evil you have to be to kill 5 members of your own family? And not all at once, in a fit or psychotic rage, but ROOM TO ROOM, and then wait for your Father to get home at 6:00 a.m., hours later, and murder him too? Sorry, idiots. This kid doesn't get any more chances. That's why these kids are murdering entire families and even whole classrooms full of young children: Because they know there are bleeding hearts out there that don't seem to care about the victims, only the psychotic gunman; because ultimately, idiots like the Griego family blame the firearm, not the finger on the trigger; because Judges try these monsters as juveniles, and they only do a few years; and because when they get out, they'll get a new name, they'll have a sealed record; and they'll be able to live their lives as if they had done nothing and get a "second chance" to do it all over again. Fresh out!

Something tells me uncle is a lot more concerned for his nephews future than that of the five innocents he murdered. WTH is wrong with this picture? None of those five get a 2nd chance. And how will society deal with this kid should he wig out and do it again in later years? He's already set a precedent, commit him for life I say.

In fact, the more I ponder uncle Eric's words and actions, the more convinced I am he has mental issues too.

give him a second chance behind bars. He's so spoiled he will not have a problem becoming the 'darling' of a penal male enclosure. Behind bars is wherehe belongs. Of course he's young but old enough to think about the lives denied for even his own blood, no one should think this crime is minimal. How old ws he when he learned to count to five?

the uncle and the aunt resemble that murderer and, yes, they're taking advantage, making a pretty, dirty penny for their 45 minutes of fame. They'll probably settle down where the 'lights shines brighter, and the sun blocks the view'. Do theyplan to mourn? maybe iy was over te morning after. Hispanic-looking for sale.

1492 is a long time ago, blood of all etnicity has gotten mixed again and again.'White' better than 'brown'? MIXTURE CONTINUES! Skins become tanned color, dark color has triumphed in saying WE'RE all EQUAL. Hispanic refers more to a language,'Mexican' more to a mixture of cultures, more essential as to who we are.'Mexican' covers it all. Spanish, indigenous physical union: it happened.

GRIEGOS is a Spanish name.Reality, as you should be aware, is that every criminal act tends to be deemed as an act from a minority person.'Griegos' refers to the Greek minority. Is there Greek blood in the Hispanic-Mexican people? The more I think of this individul crime, the more I think of how 'univeral' this is. Death, multiple deaths at the hand of a spoiled brat dos not deserve even one chance. Too much emphasis on cultural family ties never's enough.

You are right, Griegos IS a Spanish (Castillian name) HOWEVER, it was a last name APPLIED TO PEOPLE OF GREEK ANCESTRY. Yes, Greeks had an influence on coastal peoples too. That's why the GREEK "EU" is used in the Euskara (Basque), Catalan & Galician language for "I" instead of the Castillian "Yo". In Spain there were blends too. Greeks came as early as 950 b.c. and trading and mixing with coastal towns and founding Gades (Cadiz) and other cities. Phoenicians and Carthaginians (Semitic peoples from North Africa) arriving in Southern Spain, settling cities like Barca Longa, which later became Barcelona (named after Hasdrubal Barca, Father of Hannibal Barca). Celts arriving in 950 B.C. in the interior and mixing with the Iberians who by their "Punic Script", writing right to left, and suffix of "tan" (people) to their tribal names tell us they came from the Middle East. Then came Romans (219 B.C. to 486 A.D.) who brought Jewish people they scattered all over the world from Judea. Later Germans (Visigoths, Ostrogoths, Suevii and other tribes). In 711 A.D. you had Muslims from various places in the Middle East and North Africa invading and settling in the lower 2/3rds of Spain. All throughout, you also had Romani, which settled all throughout Europe. And for your information, when darker and lighter races mingle, THE RESULT IS THE HYBRID RACE GETS LIGHTER AND LIGHTER if it continues to mix with lighter people. It only remains "dark" if it marries other "dark color" people. Just look around you and see for yourself. People in New Orleans KNOW this. The long-time natives of New Orleans, light-skinned "Blacks" (really, Mulattoes) had a prejudice whereby they used to use paper grocery bags to determine if people would be allowed to marry into their families, join social clubs, etc. If your skin was darker than a grocery paper bag, it was no way. In Latin America you find the same prejudice. God help you if you call a Mulato (that's how THEY spell it) a Negro (Black)! But let's get one thing straight. All our blood is red. And it you take our exterior skins off, WE'RE ALL THE SAME COLOR (pink) UNDERNEATH. We're all human beings.

I don't think ethnicity or culture had anything to do with it. Kids aren't totally clueless. They hear the news. They see Cody Posey murdering his family, or that one kid shooting his dad in the back and getting very light punishment. They see that PUNK students provoke their teachers into getting into physical altercations and the initiator of the bad behavior (the punk) gets away with it, and the teacher gets brought up on charges; They see EVEN freaking commercials on TV showing wives hitting husbands, even babies supposedly hitting their Mothers (I could have had a V8). We have made a LOT of little monsters out there through conditioning, through our laws, through our tv shows and commercials. Look at even that obnoxious Angus Jones on "2 1/2 Men". The kid has disrespected his Father and uncle for years; lies and blackmails both; regularly smokes pot; etc. and gets away with it. Society is to blame for NURTURING sociopathic kids, who sometimes even get to grow up to be sociopathic adults, like the Menendez Brothers, who know they'll get away with it. The Menendez Brothers did not because they were grownups when they massacred their family. Don't think that point is missed on today's little sociopaths. Even gang members know: Kill While You Are A Minor.
