Teen charged in stepsister slaying says he was trying to scare her

A Tucson teen who police say shot his 14-year-old stepsister to death told authorities he didn't know the gun was loaded and only wanted to scare her, according to documents released Tuesday.

Sad story. I have a teenage daughter myself, I couldn't even begin to imagine this happening.
My thoughts and prayers go out to the family in their time of grief.
