The ones that know the Elliot Family, near and far from Orland, are the ones that are suffering the most. Rightfully, the family of Elvia are suffering too but when we do wrong by others, we must face the consequences with dignity and conviction and not assist in the negligence of the ones that have brought pain and suffering to others.

Once again, alcohol abuse has taken a young life, and has rained misery and grief on another unfortunate family. The poor girl was just innocently driving, when her life was robbed by another selfish drunk motorist.
Society needs to rethink its attitude to this harmful insidious drug,i.e. alcohol.

I have a question. I used to work with a girl named Elva Diaz, and I searched her name on Facebook. The group posting came up about looking for Elva because she fled to Mexico for killing Ms. Elliot. From her photo, she looks remarkably like the Elva I used to work with. I used to be a dispatcher at an ambulance company where she used to be an EMT in Pomona and Brea. She is the right age and she was a mother. Is this the same person??

I can't believe it!! She was always a horrible person, but I was just kind of wondering whatever happened to her. Even though she's always had the morals of an ant, I just can't believe I ever knew anyone that has done something this tragic. My heart goes out to Ms. Elliot's family. I just have to say to anyone that defends this morally bankrupt shell of a human being: She didn't deserve anyone's sympathy before this happened, and she certainly doesn't deserve it now. What a scumbag.
