as i wrote on another blog, no one in their right mind would want these "hate notes" posted about themselves. i guess its just your way of venting, but when it gets to specifics about her, thats when people need to hold the fuck back. i agree that it wasnt a wise choice for her to run, if indeed she did, but who are we to judge. i know for a fact that she did feel responsible and prayed for the girl and her family every night. as for her partying ways, who the fuck gave you that information. i can honestly say that she is not drinking and driving. she has since reduced her life to just living and working. as for some of you who claim to have worked with her, obviously you had issues at work with her because no one stupid would talk nonsense about a co-worker. i know who's been talkin, you dont have to hide. she is one of the nicest people i have come to meet and have gotten close to. i therefore hope that all of this is resolved without some many "nats" getting in the way...

Yes, it is obvious that people from Rachel's camp are venting, but a lot of this anger is based on bottom line facts. The last one being that she fled. What type of person would flee (especially being that she is a mom)? Most likely someone who only cares about herself. What about her family, her kids, Rachel's family? It seems like at the end of the day it's all about Elva. I base some of my opinion on the seemingly great time she was having even just weeks after she killed Rachel. I looked at her myspace a lot after she did this and wow, life seemed fine and dandy for her. No doubt she feels awful, responsible, scared, but ultimately it’s her actions that say it all. Did she apologize to the family? Did she offer to pay back the tens of thousand of dollars the family spent burying their daughter? It’s endless. She could have done so much to try and make this right, but she did ZERO! who wants ta know wrote: as i wrote on another blog, no one in their right mind would want these "hate notes" posted about themselves. i guess its just your way of venting, but when it gets to specifics about her, thats when people need to hold the fuck back. i agree that it wasnt a wise choice for her to run, if indeed she did, but who are we to judge. i know for a fact that she did feel responsible and prayed for the girl and her family every night. as for her partying ways, who the fuck gave you that information. i can honestly say that she is not drinking and driving. she has since reduced her life to just living and working. as for some of you who claim to have worked with her, obviously you had issues at work with her because no one stupid would talk nonsense about a co-worker. i know who's been talkin, you dont have to hide. she is one of the nicest people i have come to meet and have gotten close to. i therefore hope that all of this is resolved without some many "nats" getting in the way...

im not saying her actions were right, most of the things she did after the accident were a smoke screen for how she really felt. honestly how would she pay for the families expenses when she was taking care of her fair share. i was told she did apologize,if its true or not you'd have to take it up with the family.not one person in this world would let anything consume them entirely. if it was you in her shoes of course you would want to try and pick up whatever is left of your life and make it seem as if you were ok. as for her children, no one except for a few actually know the situation that is at hand. it is not ok to judge someone with out knowing the proper facts.it also could have been that the reason for running was because she might have been so consumed with remorse and heartache that she just could'nt deal with it. depending on the type of situation, people resort to arguements drinking running etc... being passive is one thing people feel comfortable with...

Can you explain what Elva Diaz’s “fair share” could possibly mean? I am clueless as to what that could possibly mean, you sound like you see Elva Diaz as the victim. Elva Diaz’s actions after she killed Rachel Elliott are far from “passive”. Elva Diaz has CHOSEN to further victimize the Elliott family by her actions. Elva Diaz judges herself by the way she has CHOSEN to respond. who wants ta know wrote: im not saying her actions were right, most of the things she did after the accident were a smoke screen for how she really felt. honestly how would she pay for the families expenses when she was taking care of her fair share. i was told she did apologize,if its true or not you'd have to take it up with the family.not one person in this world would let anything consume them entirely. if it was you in her shoes of course you would want to try and pick up whatever is left of your life and make it seem as if you were ok. as for her children, no one except for a few actually know the situation that is at hand. it is not ok to judge someone with out knowing the proper facts.it also could have been that the reason for running was because she might have been so consumed with remorse and heartache that she just could'nt deal with it. depending on the type of situation, people resort to arguements drinking running etc... being passive is one thing people feel comfortable with...

I am Rachel's Great Aunt, her father Steve is my eldest nephew and the pain and suffering for them has just been unbearable. We want justice for Rachel! Just when it looked as if that might come to pass Elva Diaz has gone on the Run from facing her responsibility for her actions. The Riverside Police and court system should be ashamed of themselves for waiting 16 months to bring charges and arrest this woman. I can only pray now that the Bail bondsmen want their money back and will with all of their efforts find her and bring her back to face her responsibilities. Please keep the Elliotts in prayer please!!!!

//"she is one of the nicest people i have come to meet and have gotten close to. "// Wow! If an alleged murderer and fugitive from the law is one of the nicest people you've met I would hate to meet the rest of your friends and family!

A person who is truely contrite does not run from dealing with the consequences of her actions. Her actions speak to the character of who she is.

OMG Reality Check! An innocent, beautiful, intelligent girl was murdered by a raging drunk! Anyone that has any information should willingly step up and tell what they know. You never know what little bit of information that you give can be helpful. Doing the right thing is telling what you know. No one should do this for the reward money, they should do it for the inner satisfaction, knowing that they did the right thing. If this had happened to your daughter/or loved one, wouldn't you hope that people would come forward and do all that they could to help? My prayers go up for the Elliott family, they will have to live the rest of their life without their daughter. All for the sake of a drink. People think! Don't drink and drive. Always stand up for what is right! Justice will prevail. Vengence is mine says the Lord. God help us. Please do all that you can to help our fellowman.

Today is what should have been a celebration of Rachel's 20th birthday. We would have been celebrating her first year of not being a teenager and watching her grow more into the woman she was meant to be. It's a sad day, but I will try to think of all the fun and joy she brought us while she was her. We love and miss you Rachel. Love, Uncle

Some Days I feel the same way. I just wish the Riverside Authorities had employed some insight and arrested her in a timely manner. We will miss Rachel Forever, every minute we are here! We have comfort in knowing she is with God and basking in His Love. What Elva has done by not facing up to criminal charges is to just further extend the pain to The Elliott Family and Friends and to her own. This woman will know no peace. Her family will know no peace. Everyday she is on the run she is spreading more and more of this pain. This a very very, sad event. Please pray for Justice and Healing for all parties to the tragedy. Love Aunt Patty import-export wrote: what ever happened to those good ol' lynch mob days.......

Kimberly Louise long killed him and it took years for it to get resolved. She was able to live out here pending appeals, then she hurt other people then she ran. Finally they got her and she's now doing her time in prison. So don't lose hope. They will find her and she'll get hers too. Bless you and your family.
