Mom awaits word on runaway daughter's whereabouts

You should post a picture of the young girl. How do you expect us to help you find her if we don't know what she looks like. Please describe her. How can we help, if we have no info.
I feel very sorry for her mother, because I am a mother too. I hope you find her.

Caroline: I agree...a picture would be extremely helpful in locating her...thoughts and prayers to you mom for your daughter's safe return....

Message to daughter: if somehow you are somewhere that you can read this story and these posts please call your mom at least so that she knows you are alive....

If anyone does know where she is at least let the mom know that she is OK....if it was your child you would want someone to do the same for you....

Should we really be paying for police to hunt down people's delinquent children instead of hunting down criminals?

The answer to your question is a resounding yes!....This isn't a delinquent child...this is one that has some mental health issues that were being appropriately taken care of by the responsible parents who entrusted her care to professionals....the fact that she is now missing with no information as to what has happened to her is disturbing....if it was your own child or a relative's child you wouldn't be so quick to object to the police assisting in this matter....EVERY child's life is worth every dime spent to find her for whatever reason....thoughts and prayers to the family and I hope that you get some positive news regarding your daughter soon....

"Prior to this, she had never done anything like that," she said.

So why was she there? Something happend to trigger these events. What part of the story are we not getting?

Hoping someone may recognize her demands a picture be published by this newspaper. People, there is a picture of her in the Press-Enterprise online. My heart goes out to Alexis and those who love her. Please, if you are reading this Alexis, go home or get to the nearest police station. If you are having problems at home, then go to the police station and tell them, and they will make sure you are safe. If you are unsure of a police station in a certain area and are afraid to go there, then go to the Redlands Police Department's Annex on Orange St. and Vine Street. I know they will make sure you remain safe. There are too many bad guys in the public who prey on young girls like you Alexis. It's better to go to the police and ask them for help. Please go to the police Alexis. There are people who do care about you.

The only reson I ask is because fat girls are usually runaways and not kidnaped. Lets be honest its much harder to kidnap a fat girl.

Half the people on here are from Toronto, Canada somehow. It's something wrong with this site.No idea why it is, but no I'm not Canadian and yes, I do question spending tax money to hunt down little johnnie or lttle jill because they RAN AWAY.It's not a crime, and they don't want to be found. If the cops take them home they can run away 10 minutes later and the whole mess starts all over again. In other words, we are spending taxpayer money and using scarce resources to try to deal with the mess created by someone else failing as a parent. And yes, I'll call it exactly that.Their kid runs away and they don't have a clue where they could be? So basically they know next to nothing about their child's life.Too many parents these days raise their kids like they are their buddies and then when it fails, they want us to spend taxpayer money to have the cops come out and be a parent for them. Enough! Spend a little time and effort parenting your kids instead of depending on schools or cops or government to do it and I seriusly doubt you'll have to go hunting for them one day.

Thank God for Alexis and her family...thoughts and prayers will be with you all as you try to work out your difficulties and reunify as a family....Alexis, please don't ever do this to yourself or your family ever again...there were a lot of people, complete strangers that truly cared and worried about you while you were gone...putting your mom and family through such agony and worry is something that should never have happened irregardless of what your problems are...please be thankful that you have parents and a family who cares about you because there are many kids out there today that do not...Happy Thanksgiving to your family...:)

Daily Horoscope for December 15

Taurus

Are you in listening mode today? Let's hope so because someone wants to bend your ear and they're hoping that you can spare the time and energy for them. Although your first instincts may tell you to give them plenty of advice, try to stop yourself volunteering it unless it's asked for. Even then, you may get the sense that you're really being asked to listen, not talk.
