Honey..there are alleged rapists in every corner of every city and state.. not just in Cornville. If he is there, then why havent you alerted the police to have him picked up?

And who wasnt watching your daughter when she was raped?

I am far from casual. I just cant imagine that you would know where someone was and not call the local police.

How old was this child that you left her to go to the hospital?

I am truly sad when child abuse happens; however, i have seen many parents who look the other way when it happens in their own family. That is why i asked the question. I dedicated 20 years of my life to being a teacher and social worker; and i saw many families who covered for this sick behavior.

I'm so glad this rapist is in your town instead of mine. You don't seem to have a problem hiding them from justice.

Cut the crap; you are just upset. I wish he was in jail, just like you do. And i am not hiding anyone.

You didnt answer how this happened to your daughter while you were in the hospital.

NOBODY should be abused; do you hear me?

Hear you? My daughter was in her dad's care. It's people like you that blame the victims and not the offenders that keep this and other problems alive.Instead of reading books you should talk with the ones who have and are still there.Help is a joke. When he was reported to the police instead of arresting him he was sent to counciling. My child was given three weeks of therapy and told to get over it.You are speaking out your ass!

If asking how it happened is blaming the victim....i plead guilty.

I agree that help is usually less than ideal...however, have you worked to change the system?

If it feels better to degrade me...by all means do it...my shoulders are broad.

I agree that this was a horrable thing to happen to this woman daughter but blaming her for going to the hospital is just stupid. But I guess in your twisted head you thought that she just went to say I DIDNT KNOW HE DID THAT! I agree with her blame him for doing what he did and stop blaming her for the reason it happened. And besides I've had to work with social workers before and so far I have yet to see one that has actually done any thing other than to say I'm sorry. Any body that comes to you is just more work for your paycheck. So don't say you deticated, just say you put up with because that would be a more truthfull statment

This is not a laughing matter. And I would like to know why "Laughing" chose that name for this particular post. What exactly do you, "Laughing", find so humorous about the RAPE of a child?

Her poor mother appears to have done and to be doing everything possible.

You, "Laughing", are simply an ignorant finger-pointing bully and have no idea of the gravity of this situation. If it were your mother, sister, or daughter going through this, would you STILL be "laughing"?

I live in Cottonwood, and as far as I'm concerned, you are a disgrace to my community.

I am sorry that your daughter was abused. I know how she feels. I also was raped in highschool when I took a vocational training course. Yes it was almost eleven years ago but I still remember it like yesterday. I hope that you are able to get some justice but it is giong to be a very difficult road. I was unable to get the justice for myself. The best thing I have can tell you is to be open to her when she is ready to talk just listen quietly and hold her. she is going to go through many stages from grief, to blame, to anger, etc. She need to go through them completely to somewhat heal. It will take a long time. But she will get through it and hopefully she will heal in time. My prayers are with you.

You've got a taste for adventure today, so you might decide to depart from tradition in some way and make it an unusual Christmas. You're certainly all set for a great time, and you'll want everyone else to enjoy themselves as much as possible. You'll probably eat and drink too much but, hey, it's Christmas! Isn't such excess par for the course?
