What Vacant Lot in Central New York Would You Turn Into A Park?

A land-reuse project in Corning caught my eye and got me thinking about what underutilized parcel in Utica and Central New York we could turn into parkland.

people should be responsible drinkers dont get drunk and you wont get a ticket for overnight parking duh also if you drive drunk insted of parking and only reciveing a $50 ticket the fine will be much more when causgt dwi you will also have to pay for a lawyer so even if you park on the street and or the parking lot you will have an over night parking ticket it is public parking just like the street

the city cant even sell it because someone offered to buy it and build on it? the builder was from cooperstown ny and wanted to build and our city leaders shot him down the price they wanted was way to high the bar owner next door wanted the parking and the city leaders put a high price on the lot so he wouldnt buy it this was way before the lot was even planed for parking ...does anyone know the buyer/builders name his first name was Gary ?

This disgusting piece of shit has become Uticas Mecca. Between the brewery and this shameful piece of shit street the entire city will bow down. Hope the money is worth it.

the parking should be at least 1 hr parking just like the street parking "after" 2am till 6am but the officers never time the cars parked on the street after 2 they just ticket the cars and then go with out timing the parking after 2 am to 6 am i dont even think the officers know this rule they just dont want to work and drive back after the hour they just assume the car is going to park all night

how about the hotel utica. that place qualifies as vacant doesn't it? They pay as much to the city as a park does.
