1.There is no story that interests me less than the promptness of random public record access in a school district.

2. This organization should be billed for every hour by employees across the state fulfilling their little game.

I disagree and just posted to another post. Our district got nailed and it was meant to remind them that there are laws out there that are supposed to be upheld. We have fire drills that take away time from the classroom, Code Red drills. We have speed limit rules on the road that we don't all agree. As I said in the other post, I think we got pulled into this because CUSD has a terrible reputation with record compliance. Our bosses said that where we might make a careless mistake or took more time than we should have, CUSD openly snubs everyone or lies and then we all get scrutinized. Like with a lot of things, one bad apple affects the whole box.

A lot of schools got an A on their compliance so we have nothing to complain about and in the future we will do that too. Heck, teachers give students low grades on assignments in the hopes they remediate their mistakes. I have no problem with that.

CalAware are just more nosy, busy-bodies with too much time on their hands like so many organizations in California. Some people are just born to be this way, although it's too bad they don't get thrown in the river immediately after birth.
