With real estate moving so slowly he probably thought that since he can't sell them he may as well enjoy them.

What's the problem? You find an intruder and terminate him. Solves the problem, although you have to try to avoid getting blood on the walls if you're selling the place. And if there is a basement, then you don't even have to report him.

Boy, just says how desperate things are getting in the Real Estate sector, when they have to start robbing household items from their clients. Agents aren't selling homes, and they have to pay the lightbill like everybody else.

They must do it differently in Oregon. In most places, the code to get the house key is given to prospective buyers' agents by the seller's agent. Once you've got that code, you can repeatedly enter the property, unless the seller's agent changes the code. It's just a simple combination lock-type device. No "tracking" to it, unless you count the seller's agent keeping track of who he gives the code to.

I am glad they are selling house. When you own $250 in booze, soap, and febreeze, you deserve it.

Days later, Messmer was discovered in a home in Cornelius, said Cmdr. Ed Jensen, of Cornelius police. He is alleged to have taken alcohol and toiletry items such as shaving cream and air freshener.

Jensen said the items taken from the Cornelius home on Feb. 5 were valued at about $250.

I want to make sure I understand you. If I own $250 in booze, soap and febreeze, you think I should sell my house? I just want to make sure I understand what you're saying.

Pay WillB no mind. He had a sudden attack of stupidity and generated his post before the attack had time to pass.

Hit him in the head with a sledgehammer. As long as you don't crack the skull there won't be any blood, besides what seeps out his nose and mouth.

When I sold my former house I refused to give a key to the realtor. I told them I wanted to be at home when they showed the house. I did go outside. But didn't want a key that they would give to people to go to the house. And they DID let people go by themselves. When I moved out I went ahead and gave him a key. But when I was still there I said no way. If I sell again and my stuff is still in the house I WILL remain in the house. Too many thieves around. Too easy for something small to be picked up and shoved in a pocket and too hard to try to make sure anything that can be concealed is hidden where they can't get to it.

Couldn't agree more. It used to make me cringe when I saw a realtor bring in a whole family of people, and the kids were just running everywhere; their parents didn't watch them.

I'm looking for a house to buy right now. The last one I looked at, the first time I saw it there was a stove in the kitchen. The second time I saw, the stove was gone. The seller's agent said it had been stolen.

Hey! If you work with Broker, he takes most of the cut....So you might as well enjoy it while you can. Just pray your brains don't get splatered all over the wall. The least he could have done, was to simply offer his girl friend up and let the party begin!!! Why not.. take the stress off from traveling! What's the world coming to - you think?
