Trying to see a future in the ashes

YEAH Corinth!!!!As a native of Corinth I have to say that I whole heartedly agree with peter.I too am impressed knowing how the community has "come together" in spite of its losses and is now ready to celebrate and thank all those that helped out during and after their horrific fire. It's uplifting to see the positive on this forum. To much negativity where I am now or at least on my local forums so I switched to my hometown and sure enough the news was much better.THANKS

I think Corinth should become a truly Adirondack village. I think if the storefronts in the village were designed like the ones on corner Maple St. & Mechanic St.(where the snow show building is), I believe people would come to Corinth just to see the rustic buildings and an Adirondack village. There is a hodge podge of buildings that looks like any other small town Main St.now. Let's be different. Can you picture a village like this and not like any other around. And at Xmas what a picture. Also could return to original name of the village & town (Jessups Landing) That name has a ring to it. Corinth has a lot of history and should be known for it.
