Only reason they get the jobs is because people would rather draw a check and sit on their butts than work for minimum wage. I am not defending them by any means but I have a brother who is a contractor and says they work harder than any of his other employees and have friends who own businesses that say the same.
With that being said, the problem is if they are here legally or not. A great deal are not.
I know quite a few people who I attend church with or know through friends who get disability checks who are not disabled at all.
To easy to get help from the government, especially in a small town, all you have to do in know the right people and they pull strings for you. Happens everyday.

Does anyone know who, and what was the first business in Corinth to utilize mexicans as a work force ?
And even had housing for them ?

I believe that most of the employers of illegal mexicans had any idea what impact they were having on this economy they wouldn't employ them. Since they have been sneaking into this country they have had a devastating effect on the economy, medical system, schools, welfare,
The more we hire the more the drain is, and the more that sneaks across.
Look at it this way if no one would go back to mexico, immigration problem solved.

Agree but the thing is the great business owners are hiring these Mexicans . There are some that will work ( Americans) and instead business owners had rather pay less an work longer ours . They send the money back to Mexico an its not helping our economy. Also hiring those with no # ss
Cards. I agree that there are lots of people drawing disability checks that are very able to work. Yes they get an attorney an some win or have won . That has nothing to do with small town that is a state check . Mexicans are gaining momentum an opening their own businesses . Yes Mexican gangs are here.. No talk just shoot!

The kind you smoke are the kind that needs rainy weather? It was definitely your favorite kind of people, republicans. Twenty years ago it was often that a high ranking republican's run for office would be cut short; when it was revealed that they had illegal domestics working for them. The black house boy and kitchen help were replaced by illegal domestics. This is what led to our problems today. It just escalated out of control when politicians and the wealthy decided immigration laws no longer should be enforced. It may all be Obama's fault like everything else.

I'm talking about the first to bring illegals to this town. Don't make it a political issue, they all have had illegals.

Your name sounds real familiar !!

Do you really think the employers are ignorant of the consequences of their actions? The employers are well aware of the impact they are having. They are getting to pay workers less than minimum wage and work them for as long as they want. The employers of illegals are only interested in lining their own pockets with increased profits. If they cared about their impact on the economy, they would only hire legal workers and at least pay them minimum wage.
