We may have enough signature for a vote. After that meeting the other day, management has pushed us over the edge.

Are you trying to run off CAT? That is the last thing Corinth needs. Cat pays well for the area so if you don't like the way they are treating you maybe you should find another job. There are many people that would love to take your position at CAT.

Bs, if you do that, it will close. Cat has been doing that steadily. Look at the new plant in tx, nc etc. Plus the unions are getting a worse deal than we have on top of giving a good chink of their paycheck to corrupt inion leaders. I worked union, I'm not going back.

Unions suck. If yall vote one in yall are STUPID. you will gain nothing at all from it. And will probably lose your job if it does get voted in. Why would you want someone else doing your talking for you. If you dislike your job so much go somewhere else.

If it is voted in we all lose... Simple as that. People are blowing stuff out of proportion. Alot of people are getting pissed just because we won't be getting raises like we used to, but hey, even if we don't ever get a raise again, they least paid full time employees make more than most people in the area. I won't vote for a union, and will do everything I can to make sure it doesn't happen, we need our jobs around here. If you don't like it, quit and go to work some where else. There's a bunch of folks that will need a job come December, and i'm sure they'd be happy to take your job at cat....

Sounds like Hall's / World Color back in the '90s; Keep it up and Corinth will lose another factory! Never Mind; looks like you are already headed that way.

Vote YES Cat! If unions suck as bad as these people say, why do I make $25 an hour on the low end of my crew. O and my yearly 3% raise is next month.

We make paper where I work and it's been wide open since the early 60's and hiring people now as I type. just like everywhere else that wants to unionize, I'm sure Cat will hear o they're gonna close this place if a union is voted in. I know, I heard it before where I previously worked. It's called propaganda. They didn't unionize, and guess what, closing in December. They took heavy paycuts, lost vacation and benefits long before the closingwas announced. Simple truth is, if a company wants to relocate or close a facility, they're gonna do it. Union or not. But I don't work there, so vote how you wanna vote and best of luck. I'm goin' fishin...

That's a new one. You do realize that inflation is usually around 7% a year? So, theoretically, you are making less than you made last year when comparing dollar values from past years?

And World Color closing had nothing to do with the ever growing electronic information age making most paper publications obsolete?

Actually inflation has been less than 2% annualized lately. It was negative prior to that (part of what makes a recession). So 3^ is above cost of living. Cat has had no raises merit or cost of living for the last 2 years. I still wont vote one in, though.

We don't make that kind of "paper" We make the kind that computers, cell phones, big giant ass tv's, and lots and lots of other stuff is packaged and shipped in. You know, stuff related to the "electronic information age". Sorry I didn't clarify that. And as for my measly 3%, I've got at least that much every year I've been there. Wonder what percent the CAT folks got? Better yet, how bout those at World color? O yeah, they got a pay cut. And a pink slip.....

If u don't wanna say, that's fine. But I was just curious.
