The Crisis Center serves individuals who feel they are in emotional crisis, are suicidal, having psychotic symptoms feel they may need a medication adjustment or need intensive intervention. It is a short term facility (7-21 days). It is a smoking facility. They accept medicaid and insurance but individuals will not be billed if they do not have coverage. Individuals are assessed and either admitted or referred to the appropriate program. Admissions may be voluntary or invountary on commitment. They do not do detox.

I went there, they give u counseling and it really does help. Get to smoke every 2 hours. Guys and girls are separated. You see the nurse every tuesday and she prescribes the appropriate meds for u.

It's a mental vacation, literally. Much needed break from life's stressors...Good meals are delivered(if they aren't up to par they director will personally buy good food), caring NP to find the right medication, very personable and understanding, TVs, games, recreation, smoke breaks, opportunities for 1 on 1 counseling as well as group therapy. Snacks, coffee, tea, juices provided throughout the day. Much more casual than Crossroads(5th floor). These people really care. This is coming from a person that was at the lowest point and am now doing great, found the right meds, back in the work force and loving spending time with loved ones. Thank you Timber Hills. You all saved my life.
