There really is no such lawyer. They really just want your money. Please consider trying to stay civil. We went back and forth on ours and in the end we spent thousands of dollars on something they really can't help you with. A court decided this. I'm a 42 yr old mother of 2 and make more than my ex husband. A lawyer WILL NOT help you keep your children. I found this out the hard way. I may not have given you the answer you want. But lawyers just want your money. God bless you

The divorce comment. Seems every week there is one on here. What I don't get is why everyone goes to this site for an answer. Divorce in this state, most definatly this county. Is pro father, which for some reason is a joke. But what isn't in this town. You say a tough lawyer. Sweetheart, none exists here in this city. It's all politics. Hopefully your man makes more because whoever makes the most is paying child support regardless. Best advice, keep it out of the courts hands. I'm curious why your so worried about "losing your children" vs divorce. If there is more to it then this ain't the place for advice. If you caught him or he caught you in something. Well, good luck. Just avoid the expensive lawyers. I paid for an expensive one then switched to cheaper. Cheaper lawyer did more work on it.

Are you at risk of losing your children? I'm a bit confused on the subject relating to the post. You say divorce. Well divorce lawyers help with just the process. They will not get your children in your custody. The courts decide this. I'm a paralegal and witness this everyday. People get upset at losing in court because they want want want. But forget to pass on important info to their lawyer that may hurt them in court. Being a suspect in domestic violence. Drug charges. Child endangerment. Things that you look bad on if not told to your lawyer. I have knowledge in this system, but the best answers will come from those that have been through it. Most will say avoid court. Yeah I agree. The court makes bad decisions here.

If you find one let me know. My husband was served divorce papers 3 years ago and still hasn't signed them. My lawyer just says there's nothing in the legal system forcing someone to divorce. Both parties have to agree. Only thing I got was a 3800 dollar bill from attorney office. All for a piece of paper.

Move to tennessee. After 6 months you can get one without his consent.
