Well there is 6 at Central, I believe 2 at Biggersville, and 1 at Glendale. I don't know about Rienzi. I will tell you something else. The Kossuth elementary principal got a 4-$6,000 raise just to go to Kossuth. Joe Horton is one of Sugg's buddies and the bad thing is that Horton is just as bad as Suggs.

I know the county school system does not get the funding it needs. On the other hand, the funds we do get are not stretched as well as they should be. Instead of cutting janitors, teacher assisstants, teachers, Title I program, and high school electives we should cut where the difference will actually be helpful. We do not need Asst. Principal's, or if we do need them we would only need one principal and one assistant per school. We should also clean house at the district office for the ones that have had jobs created for them because they are related to someone. It's time to stop playing politics in our school system and give the children the education they deserve. I am so sick of hearing how far behind Mississippi is. We need our superintendent and school board to think about what is best for the students for once and quit thinking about whose toes they are going to step on if they cut a few of the "higher up" positons. We must make changes that will not hurt the children. Do we really need 40 people working at the district office? Do we really need all of the principal's and assistants? Do we really need the teachers that perform badly and have a record a mile long of complaints? NO! We need good teachers and someone to take the stand and make a cut where it really needs to be made. I don't want to see anyone lose their job, but I don't want our children to be punished due to someone getting their feelings hurt either. Our children are the key to our future...wake up Suggs and school board, our children need you to do what is right.

HERE HERE!!!!! I have said 1 principal for all and asst for each. Look at the money we could save as taxpayers. OR better yet look at the other post regarding Schools in the county...it is really the solution to the education problem in Corinth/Alcorn County. But we all have to get on board and push!!!!

Unreal that anyone got a pay raise when Suggs cut jobs. Alcorn School District has to many principals and coaches. Suggs needs a pay cut. Small schools need to be cut out. Until people get involved ths nonsense will never stop. Get rid of Suggs and board members.
